Don't let the simple setup fool you... 👀

The half-kneeling landmine press is doing a lot more than just strengthening your shoulders.

By putting one knee on the ground, your body has to work harder to stabilize through your core and hips while your shoulder presses through a natural, joint-friendly path. That means you're training strength, balance, coordination, and stability all at once.

We love this exercise because it helps bridge the gap between isolated strength and real-life movement—whether you're reaching overhead, lifting something heavy, or getting back to the sports and activities you enjoy.

Sometimes the best exercises aren't the flashiest... they're the ones that teach your body to move better. 💪

Tell us if you've tried it!

Recovery doesn't end when physical therapy does.

🏋‍♀️That's why we created PWR—our aftercare personal training and wellness program designed to help you keep building on the progress you've worked so hard to achieve.

PWR stands for Performance. Wellness. Recovery.

In this video, Brandon shares why PWR is more than personal training—it's a way to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and long-term health.

🌟Not a PT patient? Great news, this program is geared for you too! Personal training in a professional healthcare setting customized to you and you goals.

Your recovery is a journey, not a finish line. Let's keep moving forward together. 💪

For athletes, their sport is more than just a game—it's a passion, a community, and a huge part of who they are.

When pain sidelined this gymnast, her goal wasn't just to recover. She wanted to get back to doing what she loves with confidence.

Watching her work through the challenges, celebrate the small wins, and ultimately return to gymnastics has been incredibly rewarding. We're grateful she trusted us to be part of her journey.

Hear her story in her own words and see what returning to sport meant to her.

💙 Thank you for allowing us to be part of your comeback.

🚨 **Exciting things are happening at MVP Therapy & Sports Medicine!** 🚨

Our **NEW Personal Training Program(PWR)** is here, and every great fitness journey starts with understanding how *you* move!

🎥 Check out our new personal trainer (Sherryl Taylor, CPT) performing a **Functional Movement Screen (FMS)** on Darren and Silvia—FMS is a quick series of movement tests that helps identify mobility restrictions, muscle imbalances, and movement patterns that could be holding you back or increasing your risk of injury.

Why guess when you can assess? 💪

👣 Can you march in place with your eyes closed without changing direction? You might be surprised! (*do not try this if you have unsteadiness/ balance issues*)

In this video, our clinicians are trying the Fukuda Step Test—a quick screening tool used to assess the vestibular system (the part of your inner ear that helps with balance and spatial awareness). A 30 degree or greater rotation indicates a postive result. As you'll see... even some of our own team didn't stay perfectly on course! 😄

While the Fukuda Step Test can provide helpful clues, it is not a stand-alone diagnostic test. It should always be combined with a thorough history and additional vestibular assessments to accurately determine whether a vestibular disorder is present—or rule one out.

If you're experiencing:
✔️ Dizziness
✔️ Vertigo
✔️ Unsteadiness
✔️ Balance problems
✔️ Feeling "off" with movement

A comprehensive vestibular evaluation can help identify the true cause and guide the right treatment.
Our vestibular-trained physical therapists are here to help you get back to feeling steady and confident. Contact us to schedule an evaluation!
