✨ Meet Michelle ✨
Michelle Tregloan is a full-time licensed speech-language pathologist at Julie Kahn and Associates.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Science from the University of Illinois and her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from St. Ambrose University.
Michelle has dedicated her career to helping clients build confidence in their communication and literacy skills. With nearly 15 years of experience across school and private practice settings, she creates a warm, engaging, and supportive environment for growth.
She is passionate about partnering with families and interdisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based care that transforms challenges into strengths. Michelle offers flexible service delivery, providing individualized therapy via telehealth, at the clinic, or by traveling to schools to support students in their educational environment.
She works with clients of all ages and stages in the following areas:
- Articulation & Phonological Processes
- Language & Auditory Processing
- Literacy & Reading Comprehension
- Written Expression
- Social Communication
- Executive Functioning
Michelle brings specialized expertise in literacy. She is a Certified Wilson Practitioner with additional formal training in the Orton-Gillingham approach and SPELL-Links. By integrating both speech-to-print and print-to-speech methodologies, she provides a comprehensive, individualized approach to reading and writing that meets each client where they are.
Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with friends and family. She loves exploring new restaurants in Chicago (recommendations are always welcome!) and getting outdoors, whether hiking in a national park or boating with her family in Wisconsin.
