I’ve had quite a few people wondering who’s behind Tidy Roots, and you know how small-town curiosity goes. 😂 So, I figured it was time to introduce myself again for anyone who may have missed it previously! If anyone has any questions I would be happy to answer them.
My name is Ashtenne Reed, owner of Tidy Roots Cleaning Company, LLC. I’m originally from northern Indiana and moved to Georgia over five years ago. I have lived in Homerville specifically since 2022. My husband and I have been together for almost 20 years, and we have six wonderful children—three boys and three girls, with our youngest being twins. Our children’s ages range from 2 (the twins) all the way up to 23. My husband is has been a Telecommunications Lineman of many years. A lot of you have probably met me, but just don’t realize it. 💚
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me caring for my many plants, listening to just about every kind of music, enjoying nature, or sightseeing and exploring somewhere new with my family.
I’ve worked in the cleaning industry for almost a decade, with experience cleaning, managing, and maintaining a wide variety of environments—including industrial buildings, doctors’ offices, hospitals, schools, residential homes, and more. I also spent several years working as an Evidence Technician before ultimately finding my way back to the work I truly enjoy.
And I genuinely love what I do.
There’s something incredibly rewarding about helping someone get their space back on track, being the helping hand they needed, and then stepping back at the end of a job and seeing the difference.
More Than Just “Clean” ✨
One of my professional certifications is COVID-19 & Other Infectious Diseases – Disinfection & Safety Management Certification & Training.
During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, I was entrusted with disinfecting Respiratory Infection Clinics specifically established to care for patients with COVID-19 and other potentially infectious illnesses. I served as the Site Supervisor for each facility, working in environments where proper cleaning and disinfection weren’t simply about appearance—they were a matter of safety.
My training included thorough cleaning and disinfection from ceiling to floor, proper chemical selection and application, required dwell times, full-scope disinfection procedures, and the correct use of PPE.
Every procedure had a purpose: protecting the nursing staff, protecting every patient who entered those facilities, and protecting myself.
Throughout that work, I did not contract COVID-19. I’m incredibly proud of the discipline, training, and strict adherence to safety protocols that went into doing that job responsibly.
That experience helped shape the standards I carry into Tidy Roots Cleaning Company today.
Whether I’m walking into a home, business, post-construction project, or another facility, I bring with me years of hands-on experience, attention to detail, and an understanding that cleaning goes much deeper than simply making something look clean.
Clean isn’t just about appearance.
It’s about protection, responsibility, and care.
I hope I can be of great service to you, and I look forward to getting you on my schedule. If you made it this far, don’t forget to check out the special holiday sale running for the month of October! You don’t want to miss it. ☺️ Thank you for supporting my small business. It’s very much appreciated! 💕
