Wellness Wednesday: It's Men's Mental Health Month and we're actually going to talk about it.

For real though. The "I'm fine" to "completely falling apart" pipeline is not a personality trait. It's what happens when you spend years being told that asking for help is weak.

Strength isn't silence. It never was.

Checking in with yourself, talking to someone, admitting you're not okay - that takes more courage than pretending everything is fine for the 47th day in a row.

To every man quietly carrying something heavy right now: you don't have to do that alone.

Wellness Wednesday: The Boys

The Boys finale just ended and we need to debrief. No major spoilers but that show spent five seasons showing us exactly what unprocessed trauma, unchecked rage, and zero emotional support actually looks like in action.

- Homelander didn't become that way in a vacuum.

- Butcher's anger had an origin story.

- Hughie spent seasons carrying grief he never fully dealt with.

- And Kimiko? Grief so heavy she couldn't function until she stopped trying to force the rage and leaned into her heart instead.

That's not just good TV. That's real life. Anger will carry you for a while, but it's connection, love, and actually letting people in that gets you through.

The lesson? Ignoring your mental health doesn't make it go away. It just makes it louder. And eventually it laser-eyes someone.

Comparison is a full-time job you never applied for and yet here we are, scrolling at midnight doing unpaid performance reviews of our own life.

Everyone's highlight reel is not their behind-the-scenes. You are not behind. You are just on your own timeline, which is inconveniently not visible on anyone else's feed.

To every mom who's been peed on, cried in the car, and still showed up - today is for you.

Happy Mother's Day to the women doing the most, always.

To the mom who hasn't finished a hot meal since 2019. The one who said "I'm fine" while running on four hours of sleep and pure adrenaline. The who Googled "Is this normal" at 2 am more times than she'd like to admit.

You are not failing. You are in it.

And if nobody has said it lately - you're allowed to have a hard day and be a great mom. Those two things can coexist. Your mental health matters just as much as theirs.

So today, we're celebrating all of it. The chaos, the crying (yours and theirs), and the love that somehow holds it all together anyway.

Drop a for the mom who needs to hear this today, or tag someone who deserves their flowers.

Your anxiety isn't just "being a lot" - here's how to actually tell the difference.

Ok, so. A little wellness check-in nobody asked for but everybody needs.

If your anxiety is messing with your sleep, your job, your grades, or your relationships; that's your brain waving a flag.

And the thing is? You don't have to wait until you're fully falling apart to ask for help. The bar is not "complete breakdown." The bar is "This is affecting my life."

Mindfulness Monday: Mindful Watching

Ok, but have you ever just... stopped and actually looked around you? Like, really looked?

Put the phone down for 2 minutes (yes, even Facebook) and just observe.

The barista who's been on their feet since 6am. The guy on the bench who just got off a call and is staring into the void. The couple that's definitely mid-argument but trying to keep it cute in public.

Everyone around you has a whole entire life happening. Plot twists, inside jokes, situationships, existential crises - the full package.

People watch a little. Feel things. Remember you're not the only main character.

Your awareness era starts now.

Yes. Full stop. 💀

Postpartum mental health doesn't clock out after 6 weeks like your OB follow-up does. It can show up anytime in the first year — or longer.

Myth: "If i start meds postpartum, i'll be on them forever"

Truth: medication plans are flexible and individualized. starting meds ≠ signing a 30-year lease. it just means getting support for this season of life — and that's actually a power move, not a life sentence.

Your brain just grew a human. It's allowed to take its time. Support is valid at every stage. no expiration date on that. 🤍

ONE small reset this weekend. You don't need a 47-step self-care routine, a face mask, AND to reorganize your entire life by sunday night.

Literally just drink some water and take a couple of deep breaths if that's all you got. We're resetting the bar to hell and it's valid
