Your baby feels what you feel. If you want a peaceful baby, you must be the conduit for peace. Energy can heal, or destroy. It's up to you which path you are going to start your baby on. Let love be their first language. Not stress.

Pregnancy is hard enough, but being pregnant and realizing you're going to be doing it as a single parent is a very tough realization. I offer support throughout pregnancy, and can help you prepare yourself to be a parent, with or without a partner.

I was a single mom at 16. I didn't have any help from my child's father. I didn't have any supportive family. I was very alone and for many years I suffered through depression, just trying to learn how to be a mom. I was a single mom, for 11.5 years. I had 4 children in that time frame... all to which I had to raise on my own.

I say that to let you know, I am a person who's experienced the hardships of life and parenthood. Starting a very young and fragile age.. I had to learn. But you don't have to do this alone. As a doula, I am also a companion. I can be your best friend, your sister, your listening ear, your guide... I am here to help. Sometimes, all it takes is someone to show that they truly care that truly makes the difference.

Happy black history month!
As an advocate for black people, and growing up in a predominantly black environment, in a mixed race family... I understand, and can truly empathize with the hardships, biases, and challenges the black community faces. So many lives lost behind the color of their skin. So many people, still fighting for equality in a country that was never established to see them as equal to their white counterpart. But I believe, as Mrs. Rosa Parks once said, "You must NEVER be fearful about what you are doing, when it is RIGHT." So I will continue to fight and advocate for black women and birthing people, to have fairness, safety, and equality in birthing spaces. I will continue to educate, I will continue to be loud, and speak about the injustices that happen simply because of the color of your skin, I will NEVER back down. Because, it is the right and righteous thing to do.

The best things in life are, free.

I just love my little guy. Being a full time mommy has its moments, where I wanna tear my hair out in a crazy frenzy... or maybe pop a straw in a bottle of wine. But then there's moments like this, that makes all the other moments, worth it.

Can you believe it's almost February!? That means I will be open to accepting birth clients. Here's my availability: (I will only accept homebirths at this time)

February- 2 availabilities
March- 1 availability
April- 2 availabilities
May- 2 availabilities

Postpartum clients are welcomed, I will take on clients as necessary depending on my schedule. I book postpartum clients in minimum 4 hour blocked schedules, $85.

Must be ok with having my newborn with me as I am a breastfeeding mom who is EBF.
