Clinical supervision is about so much more than collecting hours.

It’s where you ask questions, process difficult cases, build confidence, and start developing your own therapeutic voice.

I’m currently accepting Texas LPC Associates and would love to support you on your journey toward full licensure.

My supervision style is collaborative, culturally responsive, and growth-oriented. I’ll challenge you, encourage you, and help you bridge the gap between graduate school and real-life clinical work.

You deserve a space to learn, grow, and build confidence as a clinician. 🤍

Burnout has great PR.

It convinces us that exhaustion is commitment and depletion is strength.

But resilience looks different. Sometimes it looks like slowing down, breathing deeply, and making space for yourself.

As we practiced yoga with , Carter joined alongside us. A reminder that self-care doesn’t just impact you—it can quietly ripple outward to those watching.

Here’s your little reminder that self-care doesn’t have to be something we only do after we’re already exhausted.

Sometimes it looks like slowing down, getting some fresh air, and giving yourself a second before life starts life-ing again.

Because honestly, recovery is way harder than maintenance.

You don’t need to be at your breaking point to rest. You don’t need a whole crisis to take care of yourself.

Sometimes the pause before burnout is the care.

Even as a therapist and a mom, I still have to practice what I preach 😅

After being sick on and off since Mother’s Day 🫠 I finally gave in, cleared my calendar, put on fuzzy socks, turned on a movie, and rested.

No guilt. No trying to be productive from the couch. Just rest.

And with the FIFA World Cup starting this month, I’m also reminded that joy, excitement, and having something to look forward to are part of care too.

Sometimes the most productive thing we can do is slow down, recover, and let ourselves enjoy the little things.

June is here and listen… not everything heavy needs to come with you into this next season.

Burnout doesn’t always mean you need to “push through” like the main character in a season finale. Sometimes it means something is out of alignment and your body is trying to tell you.

Before you ask, “What’s wrong with me?” try asking, “Is this even supporting the version of me I’m trying to become?”

A little awareness can go a long way. One honest step at a time.

Meet Haydee Razo, the newest member of the Spero team!

Haydee is an undergraduate student at the University of Houston, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Biology. As an aspiring psychiatrist with a deep interest in psychology, mental health, and medicine, she is excited to learn, grow, and support Spero’s mission through meaningful content creation.

Her support helps us continue creating resources, conversations, and content that make mental health feel more accessible, relevant, and connected to real life.

We’re so glad to have her join the family.

Self-care is not just an individual issue.

Workplace culture matters. Leadership modeling matters. The unspoken “just push through” expectations matter too.

When leaders model realistic boundaries, it gives teams more room to do the same.

Grateful to be part of this conversation, Leading with Care: Mental Health, Equity, and the Future of Healthcare Leadership, with and .

Sometimes stress gives you that little “okay, let me handle this” push.

But when it gets too high for too long, it is no longer helping you stay on track. It is making it harder to think, rest, reset, or even know what you need.

That is why the warning signs matter. The earlier you notice them, the more room you have to respond instead of waiting until your body and mind are running on empty.

A little pressure can move you. Too much pressure will have you stuck.
