Our Clinical Director just got her latest credentials. Natasha is now a Registered Sand Therapist Consultant.

One of our goals at RPTCC is to train ethical, capable psychotherapists. Our associates receive weekly high-quality supervision and consultation so that they can pursue their own credentials.

Our Clinical Director has been busy this month. First, finishing her 5-month IFS training with the IFS Institute, and then presenting at the WASTP Conference this weekend.

Almost all our therapists are EMDR Trained and are getting their certification under the guidance of their clinical supervisors and EMDR approved consultants.

Immigrant children and adolescents often carry complex stories of displacement, separation, trauma, and resilience. Traditional talk-based immigration evaluations may miss critical symbolic and developmental expression—especially when trauma, language, or culture shape how stories emerge.

This training introduces sandtray as an ethical, trauma-informed tool for forensic immigration evaluations. Participants will learn how symbolic play supports emotional safety, enhances clinical understanding, and strengthens evaluation integrity while honoring each child’s dignity and lived experience.

• Identify ethical roles and responsibilities in forensic immigration evaluations
• Integrate sandtray interventions into trauma-informed evaluation processes
• Recognize how symbolic play informs clinical impressions and reports
• Apply developmentally appropriate approaches with immigrant youth
