What a beautiful day to be out on the prairie. Shane and I purchased our cemetery plots at Blazing Star Sanctuary.

Most people avoid talking about death, but planning ahead is one of the greatest gifts we can give our loved ones. Knowing our wishes are in place brings a sense of peace.

It's looking like we'll have scattered showers this weekend. Services and tours happen rain or shine, I'd suggest bringing an umbrella just in case! I also recommend everyone dress for the prairie. Long pants, closed-toed shoes, a hat, and a water bottle are highly recommended. Sunscreen and bug spray are available to you at the Welcome Center.

We will meet you at our Welcome Center located at the Indiangrass Preserve for the presentation at 10 am, and then sometime closer to 11am we will caravan down to the cemetery to finish the tour.
