Today was such an amazing event put on by and PopStroke! 💖

I met so many incredible business owners today and got to reconnect with so many familiar faces from past networking events. The turnout, support, and positive energy in the room was truly inspiring. There’s something so special about being surrounded by people who genuinely want to see each other grow and succeed.

One of the best parts of today though… was getting to experience it alongside my son. 🥹

Today, got to see firsthand what it means to build something of your own, the hard work, the courage, the conversations, and the confidence it takes. He sold so many of his 3D printed fidgets today and I couldn’t be more proud of him. Watching him step outside of his comfort zone to talk to customers, explain his products, add up totals, and collect payments was honestly emotional for me as a mom. ❤️

If you know Jacs, then you know he’s naturally shy. Being autistic, social situations and stepping out to meet new people hasn’t always come easy for him. But this past year, I’ve watched him grow in the most beautiful way. His confidence, determination, and willingness to overcome fears and obstacles has been incredible to witness. Today was one of those moments I’ll never forget.

Thank you again to Brittany for always creating such welcoming spaces for small businesses, families, and community. You truly do an amazing job and I’m so grateful to be part of this supportive community of women and entrepreneurs.

You never truly know what someone is carrying behind the smile, the busy schedule, or the “I’m fine.”

A little kindness can become someone’s reason to keep going today. ❤️

A kind word.
A compliment.
A quick check-in.
A smile.
A moment of patience.

Those small things may seem simple to you, but to someone else, they can mean everything.

In business and in life, I’ve learned that people may not always remember what you said, but they will remember how you made them feel. Being successful is important, but being kind while you grow matters even more.

Let’s choose to encourage instead of judge, support instead of compete, and lead with compassion wherever we go. The world needs more genuine hearts, more understanding, and more people willing to lift others up.

One thing I’ve really learned over the last year is how important community is, especially as a woman, business owner, mom, and someone constantly trying to grow both personally and professionally. That’s why I’m so thankful for . ❤️

Joining this group has brought so many amazing women into my life that I probably would have never met otherwise. What I love most is that it genuinely feels like women coming together to encourage, support, inspire, and help each other succeed. Through these events and masterclasses, I’ve learned so much, gained confidence, built friendships, and created meaningful connections with women who truly want to see one another win.

As a business owner, it can sometimes feel lonely or overwhelming trying to balance everything, so having a community like this has meant more to me than I can explain. There’s something powerful about being surrounded by ambitious, kind, supportive women who openly share ideas, experiences, advice, and encouragement.

I also have so much respect for and the incredible community she has built. Seeing SMB go from Katy and now into Sugar Land, Memorial City, and Rosenberg is so inspiring because you can truly see the heart behind it all. She’s created more than networking events, she’s created a space where women feel welcomed, seen, valued, and supported.

Last night I joined the ladies for SMB After Hours at in Katy and it was such a fun night! Good food, margaritas, laughs, conversations, and supporting another local business together, moments like that are what make this community so special. If you haven’t checked them out yet, definitely go support them! Their food and atmosphere were amazing. 🍹✨
