Our staff is specially trained in pediatric home health and understand the unique needs of children. Unlike other home care companies, our staff is comprised entirely of pediatric trained professionals. RiverKids Pediatric Home Health is committed to assisting children and their families to receive necessary care in the familiar setting of the child’s home. Care is tailored for each patient using a team of therapists who have chosen pediatrics as their specialty. Providing home care since 2007, RiverKids Pediatric Home Health has service areas located throughout South and Central Texas servicing patients and clients in over 50 counties. We believe that a team approach to patient care greatly reduces recovery time for our patients. Physicians trust our qualified professionals to meet the demanding challenges of their patients. In pediatric home health, our therapists use familiar toys, everyday routines and activities kiddos already enjoy to help them practice skills right where they’re most comfortable....at home.

Each repeat is another opportunity to learn, build confidence and make progress. So keep it playful and remember: SMALL STEPS STILL COUNT!!! 🐸

This kiddo and his therapist have been working on stacking blocks for several months, and he absolutely knocked it out of the park here! 🧱

Moments like this are a great reminder that progress takes practice, patience and plenty of encouragement. Way to go! 🐸

Our DFW Collab4Kids group was honored to have Ampcare, LLC host our September Collab!

We had the opportunity to learn more about their Effective Swallowing Protocol (ESP™), an FDA-cleared and CE-marked approach designed to support functional swallowing in appropriately selected patients with dysphagia.

Hearing testimony directly from a parent about her daughter’s experience with ESP and the difference it made for their family made the day even more special.

We’re so grateful to Ampcare, LLC for hosting, sharing their expertise, and giving our group the chance to learn, connect, and hear a real-life perspective!🐸

It is another "WINS"day and look at Declan go!!👏🏼

He just received his new power-assist manual chair thanks to the support of his entire medical team!! Now he is putting those new wheels to use, cruising through the grocery store and testing all the samples along the way!!🧑🏼‍🦽‍➡️🛞

🎉 It’s WINS-day! 🙌

When Jasper first started therapy, sensory play wasn’t exactly his favorite. New textures, messy activities, and unfamiliar sensations could feel like a lot.

So we started small. One touch, one new texture, one little try at a time.

Today? Jasper is digging into sensory bins, jumping into crash pads, getting messy with art, and trying new things with a whole lot more confidence. And those wins are showing up in his communication, flexibility, and everyday activities too.

Sometimes progress isn’t one big milestone. It’s all those little “I did it!” moments that got you there.

Way to go, Jasper! 🐸
