🌟 House Manager Spotlight – August 🌟

This month, we’re honored to recognize Kim Masters for her incredible dedication, compassion, and commitment to serving others. With 15 months at IRH and about 20 years of accumulated caregiving experience throughout her life, Kim brings a caring heart, valuable experience, and a genuine passion for making a difference every day.

Kim has accumulated about 20 years of experience in caregiving throughout her life, bringing compassion, patience, and a genuine heart to every person she serves. Her experiences have shaped her into the dedicated caregiver she is today, and she continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our participants every day.

One of Kim’s favorite parts of her role is building meaningful relationships with the participants and helping them enjoy life through community outings and weekly activities. She loves having the opportunity to create an environment that best meets each individual’s unique needs.

Outside of work, Kim enjoys spending time with her family and grandchildren, traveling, watching sports, playing pickleball, cooking, and catching the latest movies. She jokes that something many people may not know about her is her age!

Kim’s advice to anyone considering a career in caregiving is, “Treat people the way you’d want someone to treat your own family. Skills can be taught, but compassion, patience, and respect are what make a truly great caregiver.” She also believes in the importance of patience and listening, reminding us that everyone moves at their own pace and that sometimes people simply need someone to hear them.

🌟 Staff Spotlight – August 🌟

This month, we’re excited to recognize Kimberley Judy 🎉🎉 as our Staff Spotlight! Although Kimberley has been part of the IRH family for a short period of time, she has already made a wonderful impression through her compassion, positivity, and dedication to our participants. With 7 years of caregiving experience, she brings both knowledge and a genuine heart for helping others.

Kimberley was inspired to pursue caregiving by her children, and she believes that truly making a difference means putting your whole heart into the work. Her favorite part of the job is seeing the smiles and laughter of our participants and knowing she has the opportunity to make a positive impact in their lives each day.

When she’s not at work, Kimberley enjoys spending time outdoors, creating art, traveling to new places, reading, horseback riding, hiking, fishing, glamping, and, of course, watching true crime documentaries. She also says that something people may not know about her is that she’s very observant—a quality that serves her well both in caregiving and in life.

Kimberley’s advice for anyone considering a career in caregiving is simple yet meaningful: “You have to put your whole heart into it!” She also lives by the quote, “The best things in life are the people we love, the places we’ve been, and the memories we’ve made along the way.”

Nothing beats watching our clients laugh, swim, and make memories together. Days like these are about so much more than staying cool…they’re about building friendships, creating confidence, and enjoying every moment.

Meet Victor!

Victor is a lover of games, magic, cooking, and giving just about everyone a hard time. 😄 His sense of humor and fun personality make every day a little brighter, and he always keeps us laughing.

We’re so grateful to have Victor as part of the Idaho ResHab family. Thank you for being unapologetically you and for bringing so much joy to those around you! 💙

Some days at the office feel less like a workday and more like a reality TV episode. 😂 Between the unexpected, the laughter, and the chaos, there’s never a dull moment.

At the end of the day, it’s all worth it because of the people we get to serve and the team we get to do it with. ❤️

Things have been a little tense around here… audit week has us all feeling it. 😅

But we’re incredibly grateful for the coworkers who make the hard days lighter, the laughs that get us through, and most of all, the amazing clients who remind us every single day why we do what we do. ❤️

At the end of the day, it’s always worth it.

🌟 House Manager Spotlight – July 🌟

We’re proud to celebrate Randi Shirley as our House Manager of the Month! 🎉 Randi consistently goes above and beyond, showing kindness, reliability, and a genuine passion for supporting those we serve. Her hard work, positive attitude, and commitment to making a difference have a lasting impact on both our clients and our team. Thank you, Randi, for everything you do—we’re so thankful to have you as part of the IRH family!

Randi has been part of the IRH family since May 2025 and has spent most of her adult life working in healthcare and caregiving. Her passion for supporting the special needs community comes from the heart, and she believes they bring so much magic to the world. What she loves most about her job is working alongside her three amazing clients and experiencing the pure love and joy they share so freely.

When she’s not at work, you can find Randi watercolor painting, creating art, or spending quality time with her grandchildren. While she describes herself as an introverted extrovert who can talk with anyone, she’s just as happy enjoying quiet time on her own.

Her advice to anyone considering a career in caregiving is simple but powerful: “Lead with your heart and do it.” She also lives by the motto, “If you wanted to, you would. Don’t make excuses for things you could’ve done differently.”

🌟 July Staff Spotlight: Congratulations to Our Staff of Anna Shirley! 🌟

We’re excited to recognize Anna Shirley as our Staff of the Month! 🎉 Anna’s dedication, compassion, and the positive impact she makes each day at Idaho Residential Habilitation do not go unnoticed. We’re grateful to have her as part of the IRH family!

Anna has been part of the IRH family for the past 6½ months and has been working in healthcare for about 1½ years. Inspired by her mom's passion for caregiving, Anna brings that same compassion and dedication to her clients every day. She loves building meaningful relationships and creating fun memories by taking clients out to enjoy activities together. What she loves most is forming lasting bonds with the amazing people she serves.

When she's not at work, you'll likely find Anna enjoying bike rides with her son, working on creative crafts, or spending time outdoors. She's a fan of Mountain Dew, sour candies, and anything green!

One fun fact about Anna is that she has visual snow syndrome, something many people may not know about her.

Anna's advice for anyone interested in caregiving is simple but meaningful: "Find what works with your client and stay consistent." She also lives by the reminder, "Know that you don't have to be perfect, you can be good."
