Smiles, movement & creativity at the Roberts Senior Center!
We had the joy of spending time with our local seniors through movement, music, creativity, and connection. We started with a fun chair-based dance activity that got everyone moving and smiling. Followed by a meaningful art activity where we created a “quilt” of pictures representing the people, places and things that bring us happiness.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. We’re grateful for these special moments of connection in our community 🦋

As part of our Arts in Health Series, students created a beautiful Kindness Quilt filled with positive messages and words of encouragement. Each piece was a reminder that a little kindness can make a big difference, especially when someone is going through a difficult time.

Bringing creativity, self-expression, and community connection together, our “My Inner Light” activity invited young artists to explore their imagination and express what makes them shine! They created vibrant canvas paintings using neon paints and markers, celebrating their unique ideas, creativity, and inner light.

Our Snowy Art workshop this week brought a little winter magic to Immokalee! We had an amazing time making "snow", creating snowy-themed artwork full of creativity and imagination. The fun continued with a slime-making activity to end the class.

Our Paper Jellyfish workshop this week was a splash of creativity and fun! The children had a wonderful time crafting colorful paper jellyfish, using their imagination and artistic skills to bring their underwater creations to life. Creativity was in full bloom in our Pasta Mosaic class! Children transformed simple pasta into beautiful mosaic masterpieces while exploring color, texture, and imagination. We love seeing creativity shine through in every unique creation 🦋
