Kingdom Recovery KC is facing an unexpected and serious funding gap, and we could really use our communityโs help.
We were recently notified that SOR fundingโone of the funding sources that helps cover program costs for some of the men we serveโis being paused for at least a month. When this happened last year, the interruption lasted even longer, so we are preparing for the possibility that this could be more than a short-term setback. Combined with the recent loss of several other funding sources, this has created a serious and unexpected disruption in the funding we rely on to operate our program.
Kingdom Recovery provides safe sober housing, structure, accountability, transportation, recovery support, and a community where men can begin rebuilding their lives. We are cutting expenses wherever we can and actively working to develop additional funding and sponsorships, but there are expenses we simply cannot eliminate if we are going to keep our doors open and continue serving the people who depend on us.
Right now, we are asking our community to help us bridge this funding gap.
If you are able to make a one-time or recurring donation, every amount helps:

Monetary donations can also be made in person at the Kingdom Recovery meeting hall.
If donating isnโt possible, you can still make a huge difference by sharing this post or connecting us with a local business, church, organization, or individual who may be interested in sponsoring Kingdom Recovery.
We believe strongly in the work happening here. We see men finding stability, building relationships, returning to work, reconnecting with family, serving their community, and creating lives in recovery that extend far beyond their time in our program.
Thank you to everyone who has supported Kingdom Recovery KC and continues to believe in what we are building. โค๏ธ
