Got me out here feeling like a used car salesman. đ
AnywayâŠfor real though, after over 10 years of working with trauma, watching Brainspotting finally help people (myself included!) release stored trauma theyâve been carrying around is probably one of the most incredible experiences of my life.
Brainspotting is a brain-based trauma processing modality developed by Dr. David Grand in 2003. It uses eye positions to access the subcortical brain which is the part of the brain that stores trauma, emotion, and body memory below conscious thought. Thatâs the part that talking alone often canât reach or change.
Which is why it works for things that have been stuck for years like trauma, unexplained chronic pain, grief, performance anxiety, creative blocks, or even just the pattern youâve tried everything else for.
Itâs based on Neuroscience and itâs changing whatâs possible for a lot of people. Check out the studies behind it at Brainspotting.com!
If youâve been in talk therapy for years and feel like you understand your patterns intellectually but theyâre still running your life, then Brainspotting might be the missing piece. Thatâs not always true obviously for everyone. But itâs true often enough that I bring it up with almost every new client I see.
Have you tried Brainspotting? Or is this the first youâre hearing about it? đ
