🎭 More Than Just Costumes...
One of the favorite spots at Grandma Jane's Playhouse is our Dress-Up Corner. 👑🦸♀️👷♂️👩🍳
To kids, it's all about becoming a princess, a firefighter, a doctor, or a superhero for the day. But behind all that fun, something pretty amazing is happening.
✨ Pretend play helps children:
💬 Build language and communication skills
🧠 Strengthen problem-solving and creativity
❤️ Practice empathy by stepping into someone else's shoes
🤝 Learn to cooperate, share, and take turns
🌟 Grow confidence as they create their own adventures
There's no "right way" to play. Whether they're saving the world, running a restaurant, or taking care of a baby doll, they're learning through every imaginative moment.
Sometimes the simplest moments—putting on a funny hat or pretending to make dinner—become the biggest building blocks for growing minds.
What's your little one's favorite character to become when they play? We'd love to hear in the comments! 🎭💕
