October is Medical Ultrasound Awareness Month! 🔍

Ultrasound is one of the most important tools in fertility care, and it's been around longer than you might think. What started with a scientific discovery in 1880 grew into the technology we use every day to support our patients. In the 1980s, it made egg retrieval far less invasive. Today it's part of nearly every step of the IVF process.

From your very first scan to tracking your progress, guiding your egg retrieval, and helping place your embryo, ultrasound helps us give you safe, precise, personalized care at every stage. 💜

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 💗

As a fertility clinic, we believe we have a responsibility not only to raise awareness about breast cancer, but also to make sure patients know about fertility preservation before treatment begins.

Many people don't realize that treatments like chemotherapy and radiation can affect fertility.

Oncofertility is about protecting your fertility before, during, and after cancer treatment. For many patients, egg or embryo freezing can be done in about two weeks, in coordination with your oncology team, so your cancer care stays on track.

IVF and ICSI are often mentioned together — but they're not the same thing. And knowing the difference could change your treatment plan entirely. ➡️

Both involve fertilizing eggs in a lab, but the way fertilization happens is very different. Traditional IVF lets s***m fertilize the egg naturally. ICSI takes it a step further — one single s***m is injected directly into the egg by an embryologist.

ICSI is often recommended when male factor infertility is involved, but it's also used in cases of previous fertilization failure, surgical s***m retrieval, or when genetic testing is planned.
