I’m passionate about helping women feel supported through the emotional challenges that can come with trying to conceive, pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood.

I currently offer virtual therapy sessions for women in Missouri and Florida.

Bloom Perinatal Therapy fully supports Kilah with Elephant Baby: Postpartum & Motherhood Support. Postpartum support matters so much, and I love seeing more conversations like this being shared. If you’re a new mom (or about to be), this is such a valuable resource in the St. Louis area.

Lawson launched Elephant Baby in 2021. It is a postpartum care agency focused on supporting moms beyond the beginning stages.

Moms just because you are fully dilated does not mean it’s time to start pushing. Some of the reasons for the average push time is 2 hours is bc moms are rushed, coached pushing is used, epidurals are not turned down so mom can feel the sensation to push, and positioning the mom on her back. Look up the term Fetal Ejection Reflex. When we wait and let our bodies on their own labor baby down push times on average lower to 20 minutes or so!
