👩🏼‍🐰‍👩🏽 A couple of days ago, one of our long-time clients made a comment that struck me as interesting. She said “you guys have such a special niche studio. You welcome all types of clients, all ages, body types and abilities.” Ummmm, that shouldn’t be a niche, that should be the norm!Fitness isn’t just for tiny young bodies who like loud music, instructors with microphones yelling at them in a dark room. If that’s your thing, that’s fantastic stick with it!!! And if you like bright sunny studios with men and women of all shapes & sizes moving and grooving, that’s great too!!! Come check us out, we’d love to have you as part of our little family ❤️ #904

Let’s preface this post by saying we actually 𝐝𝐨 have a Pilates Basics & Foundations class on Tuesdays & Thursdays which is a perfect place to start your Pilates journey.
Otherwise though, all of our classes are open-level. Our highly trained instructors cater each class to the specific needs & abilities of the students in that class.
Our more seasoned students are able to challenge themselves by concentrating more on their form & body awareness, while more novice clients are focusing on learning the exercises & how to execute them safely.
We want ALL bodies to feel successful.

“𝐃𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨 𝐏𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐲?“
𝒀𝑬𝑺!!!
Ask any Pilates PT the line between the two isn’t just blurry, it’s pretty much non-existent. Take this beautiful long-time client. She’s had 2 hip replacements & is planning on a knee replacement at the end of this year.
How keen is your eye?
What do you see happening here?

(Note: We did single leg work as well as working with different angles and straight legs, but I had to put the camera down for those to ensure safety 😉) #904

𝑨 𝒎𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖, 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒎𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒔. Pilates equipment is not a machine, there is no plug or electricity, any and all effort is entirely human-powered. And while other Pilates studios may call their classes “Reformer” classes, we intentionally introduce all of our clients to the various types of Classical Pilates Apparatus. Each apparatus provides both assistance and resistance to help ALL bodies feel successful, build strength, balance and flexibility. Sign up for a Private or Group Class today 💙

🇺🇸 In honor of 𝑰𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝑫𝒂𝒚, we want to give a shout out to the 𝑰𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 studio owners who are giving it their all. ❤️ In this era of large franchise corporate studios it can be challenging for the local independent studios to thrive. 💙 We just want you to know we see you & we support you! Happy 4th of July to everyone who puts their heart into every session, every class and every client! And thank you to everyone who puts their trust and loyalty in us! (Sorry if we missed any studios, it wasn’t intentional or for some reason it wouldn’t let me tag you). 💪🏽 🇺🇸 #904
