Most people don’t know that alcohol withdrawal can be life-threatening. Neither did Tram’s family until they lost him to Alcohol Withdrawal Syndrome at just 25 years old.

Determined to change that, they founded the TENS Foundation to educate others, advocate for safe medical detox and help ensure more people get the care they need before it’s too late.

David’s Folly brings people together all in support of that mission 🎶

Join us on August 15 at David’s Folly Farm in Brooksville, Maine an evening of live music, community and hope.

Before losing her son, Tram, Amy had never even heard of Alcohol Withdrawal Syndrome.

Now, she’s dedicated to making sure other families never have to learn about it through tragedy 🙏

TENS Foundation was created in Tram’s honor to raise awareness, provide education and connect people with the resources they need to get sober safely.

If Tram’s story touched you, please share this video. You never know whose life it could help save 💙

Sobriety isn’t one decision. It’s hundreds of quiet ones.

At the restaurant.
On vacation.
After a hard day.
After a really good day.

Every choice is another step toward the life you’re building.

If you’re ready to take that first step, or help someone you love take theirs, TENS Foundation is here to walk beside you 🤍

Alcohol rarely takes everything all at once.

It takes a day here.
A birthday there.
A relationship.
A weekend.

Until one day, you look back...

and realize it took years.

But recovery changes the story.

Recovery isn’t about getting your old life back. It’s about finally getting the chance to build the one you deserve🫶

The years behind you don’t define you.
The years ahead are still yours to write.

If you or someone you love is living with Alcohol Use Disorder, don’t wait to ask for help. TENS Foundation is here to connect you with education, resources, and support every step of the journey.

Here’s the truth: you couldn’t grieve those years while you were still living them.

Healing isn’t about pretending the past didn’t happen.

It’s about giving yourself permission to acknowledge it, and choosing not to stay there.

Grieving isn’t a sign you’re failing. It’s often a sign you’ve healed enough to finally face what you’ve been through.🙏

If you or someone you love is navigating Alcohol Use Disorder, know that recovery is possible.

TENS Foundation provides education, resources, and support for every stage of the journey🤍

You don’t realize it’s happening until one day you look back and wonder where the years went.

For me, alcohol took 28 years.

I can’t get those years back. But because I chose recovery, I’m finally able to live the years I have left with purpose.

If you’re struggling, or someone you love is, don’t wait another year.

Reach out. Ask for help. Recovery is possible.

TENS Foundation is here to help you take the first step.🤍
