HEY PUMPKINS… I MADE CROISSANTS. 🥐🧡

And not just any croissants.

These little beauties represent years of learning, failing, starting over, crying over dough, questioning every life decision, and doing it again the next morning.

I taught myself how to make these. No culinary school. No fancy apprenticeship. Just flour, butter, stubbornness, and years of labor poured into learning the craft.

Every fold.
Every layer.
Every imperfect batch that taught me something.
Every time I thought, “I’ll never get these right.”

And then one day…

I cut one open and see THIS. 🥹🥐

So yes, I’m ridiculously proud of these.

Because behind every croissant hitting the Pumpkin Hill stand is a whole lot of work, persistence, and love for this craft.

Croissants are officially coming to the stand. 🥐✨

Hey Pumpkins!! Tomorrow the stand reopens! 🧡

The worst of the heat wave is finally behind us, and I’m so excited to have the shelves stocked again.

Fresh from the oven will be Old-Fashioned Oatmeal Raisin Cookies. Soft, chewy, packed with hearty oats and sweet raisins, and baked the old-fashioned way for that homemade taste.

Thank you all for your patience while I took a short break during the extreme temperatures. I can’t wait to welcome everyone back tomorrow. See you at the stand and be on the look out for more sweet treats!!

Hey Pumpkins! With the heat index expected to reach around 115°F today, Pumpkin Hill Apothecary’s self-serve farmstand will be taking a little rest.

Your health and safety come first, and I don’t want anyone out in dangerous afternoon temperatures just to grab a loaf of bread or a sweet treat.

Stay inside if you can, drink plenty of water, check on your family, neighbors, and animals, and try to avoid being out during the hottest part of the day. 💛

We’ll be back as soon as it’s safe to do so. Thank you for always supporting this little homestead. Wishing everyone a cool, safe day. 🌿
