My heart still aches from this story. “The Kids Are Not Okay: A Conversation We Need To Have” is a raw, urgent look at youth grief, loss, and the conversations families must have now. Read the full piece and join the discussion — our kids need us to listen. https://wix.to/vEgq9fG

She walked with her head down and a single flower in her hand. She started off slowly but picked up pace the closer she got to him. The church was completely silent as if disbelief itself had taken over the hundreds of people intently watching. It still didn’t feel real. This couldn’t be real. H...

What if I told you that we had winter all wrong? That it arrives with an unspoken permission to be still.
I wrote about winter not as something to survive, but as something sacred.
A pause. An anchor. An invitation.
If you're tired...this one is for you.

What’s one quiet ritual you lean on this season?

This season can feel heavy. As if, the icy terrain is there to haunt us. It blankets our land with a distinct unwelcomed greeting. The cold finds its’ way to our bones and forces a stillness to preserve every ounce of warmth we have left. The sun takes its’ leave hours before the day is meant to...

The night has fallen. Light knows no name here, except for the littlest beings shining through gloom, lighting the way. Some call them fireflies, some call them lightning bugs, but they are one in the same, magic. Stories are as if the creator captured moments in a jar, like fireflies, and watched t...

The world feels too heavy. It has felt like this for a while, but now, now it feels like we are carrying the weight of EVERYONE. If you’re an empath, like me, it truly is unbearable. The emotions are so heightened that I can feel them racing through my veins. It is like they have become me, and I ...

𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐈 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐋𝐨𝐠𝐨 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝙖𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙢𝙤𝙢

When creating this brand, I wanted a symbol that truly represents the heart of what "awellmom" stands for: strength, survival, and the stories that continue.

This logo combines two powerful symbols:

The Semicolon ( ; ) → A global sign of mental health awareness and su***de prevention. It represents the choice to continue your story when you could have ended it. It says, “My story isn’t over.”

The Female Symbol (♀) → A reminder of motherhood, womanhood, and the resilience of women everywhere—especially mothers who silently carry so much.

Together, they form a mark of empowerment. It’s imperfect, hand-drawn, and raw, just like our journeys through motherhood and mental health. But it’s also bold, unapologetic, and deeply meaningful.

This isn’t just a logo. It’s a promise.
A promise to mothers who feel unseen.
A reminder that your story matters.
And proof that we are stronger together.
