I love home birth. I’m not anti hospital birth. I am not interested in one-size-fits-all birth options. I believe home birth is a safe & beautiful option for many women. I have seen medical tools become necessary. I have seen the cascade of interventions. I have seen mothers make hard decisions. I believe physiological birth is powerful & purposeful. I have seen birth plans change.

You deserve to feel supported, safe, and loved throughout your birth & postpartum journey! 🤎 Birth has humbled me deeply as a doula and as a woman. The more families I serve, the less black-and-white birth becomes and the more I surrender to the sacredness of His design. God meets women in every birth space.

last week was national infertility awareness week.

While I don’t like the label of “infertility”, we’ve found ourselves in this place.

I saw many posts regarding hoping to grow our family that I resonated with last week, but experiencing this while having a child already is a different experience. Beyond thankful for this extra 1:1 time with her, and equally grieving not being able to give her a sibling in the timing we pictured.

I just wanted to share some realities & thoughts, both good & hard, that we’ve felt throughout this journey. If you can relate to any of this, I am sorry and I would love chat if you need someone 🤎
