Delivering babies 👶🏽 is, without a doubt, one of the greatest gifts this career brings to my soul. 💝But so is changing a woman’s life through advanced surgical skills. I know surgery can bring up mixed feelings. Many women hope for more “natural” options—and so do I…when they’re appropriate & effective. But that’s not the reality for everyone. When a woman comes to me after exhausting other options, hoping for relief & asking (sometimes pleading) me to intervene, I’m honored to help. Even better, many procedures can now be safely performed in the office, which helps reduce anxiety, avoids the hospital 🏥 for many patients, & often significantly lowers the financial burden. Providing compassionate, evidence-based care while making treatment more accessible? That’s a win for my patients every time. 💜

💉 We have some Botox that will be expiring in a couple of months, so we have a question for you all!
Would you prefer:
✨ A Botox Party with friends?
OR
✨ Individual appointments?

Since it’s a little challenging to switch back and forth between OB/GYN visits and Botox appointments throughout the day, we’re thinking about setting aside a dedicated Botox time each week, either first thing in the morning or right after lunch.
If you’ve been thinking about refreshing your Botox, now is a great time! We’d love to put this product to good use before it expires.
We’d love your input, Which option would you prefer? Or do you have another suggestion? Drop your thoughts in the comments below! 💜

These are my “hot takes”—and I fully recognize that every provider has their own style of practicing medicine🩺. That said, there is an established standard of care, & some of these opinions are rooted in that rather than personal preference. So here’s my official disclaimer: 👨🏿‍⚕️ These are my opinions only. This post is not medical advice and shouldn’t replace a conversation with your own healthcare provider…But maybe 🤔 we’d all benefit from having providers who share a few of these beliefs. 😉 ~ONE LOVE~ 💜🫶🏿🇯🇲

Knowledge is empowering, and it’s never too early—or too late—to establish a trusted relationship with your gynecologist. 💜🤍🫶🏿
Your health matters to us at every stage of life. We often see posts from women searching for providers who can care for them when they’re not having babies. 👶🏽 The good news is, that’s exactly what we do!!! And we make that a priority!
As Women’s Health specialists, we care for women throughout their entire lives. While prenatal 🤰🏽care is one of the most rewarding parts of our profession, pregnancy represents only a relatively short chapter in a woman’s lifelong healthcare journey. From adolescence & menstrual health to contraception, fertility, pregnancy, menopause, hormone health, preventive screenings, & everything in between—we’re here for you every step of the way. Because every woman deserves a trusted provider who listens, educates, & partners with her through every season of life. 💜

Not everyone realizes the many nuances of being an Ob/Gyn—or the broad range of medical conditions we help manage during pregnancy. I’m reminded of a pregnant patient who suffered from debilitating abdominal pain and required multiple hospitalizations because of elevated liver enzymes. Several specialists were understandably hesitant to intervene during pregnancy, leaving her with what felt like two impossible choices: continue living with severe pain while risking further liver damage, or deliver her baby prematurely. Thankfully, through collaboration and a strong professional network, we found a specialist willing to perform the ERCP needed to remove her bile duct stone, allowing her pregnancy to continue safely. I also think of the many patients who have been told to stop their mental health medications simply because they became pregnant, only to find themselves without a plan or support when their symptoms return. Pregnancy doesn’t eliminate mental health needs; it often makes thoughtful management even more important. These are just a few examples of why caring for pregnant patients is so much more than delivering babies. Every decision requires balancing the health of both mother and baby, coordinating with multiple specialists, and carefully weighing risks and benefits that are rarely black and white. I’m incredibly grateful for the colleagues who recognize the value of collaboration and who are willing to work together to provide the specialized care our patients deserve. The best outcomes happen when we care for patients as a team. ~ONE LOVE~ 🫶🏿💜🇯🇲

When someone takes photos of all the Doctors 👨🏻‍⚕️👨🏻‍⚕️👨🏿‍⚕️👨🏻‍⚕️👩🏻‍⚕️👩🏼‍⚕️👩🏻‍⚕️ .jupiter and uses AI to turn us into superheroes…🦸🏻🦸🏻🦸🏿‍♂️🦸🏻🦸🏻‍♀️🦸🏼‍♀️🦸🏻‍♀️…there’s really only one thing to do: share it so you all can laugh with us a little bit. 🤭 (you’re welcome 😇) Not all heroes wear capes, but many who wear lab coats are heroes to someone, & that’s worth acknowledging. 💜 Working alongside such talented & caring physicians has been proof of just how many lives we have the privilege to impact positively. It’s both a tremendous responsibility & incredible reward…because, as one famous superhero’s uncle said, “With great power comes great responsibility.” 😜 Bonus points if you can name the superhero without using AI! 🕷️🕸️ 🫶🏾💜
