Our residents had a blast getting creative at today’s Arts & Crafts Club! They made festive fall décor to add a special touch to their rooms while enjoying plenty of laughs and time together. 🧡

💐✨ A Little Glamour, A Little Creativity & A Lot of Fun! ✨💐

The ladies had a wonderful time at our Women’s Social, where we enjoyed an afternoon filled with pampering, creativity, and sweet treats! 💅💎

From beautiful manicures to creating their very own decorated jewelry boxes, there was plenty of laughter and creativity around every table. And, of course, no ladies’ gathering would be complete without good food and refreshing peach tea! 🍑

🍂🌸 Garden Club is planting a little fall magic! 🌸🍂

Our residents got their hands dirty today, planting beautiful fall-blooming flowers and giving our garden a fresh seasonal touch! 🪴🌼

There were smiles, sunshine, a little dirt under the fingernails, and LOTS of garden talk! 😂🌱

We can’t wait to watch our flowers bloom and see all the hard work from our Garden Club come to life! 💛🍁

🇺🇸❤️🤍💙 Red, White & Crafty! 💙🤍❤️

Our residents got into the Labor Day spirit by creating some beautiful red, white & blue wreaths! 🎨✨ A little creativity, a lot of laughs, and plenty of patriotic pride made for a wonderful afternoon of crafting together.

We’d say our residents really worked their magic on these wreaths! 😉🇺🇸

🎨🖌️ ARTS AND CRAFTS CLUB 🖌️🎨

We had our first meeting with the arts and crafts club! We got picture frames and put hot glue swirls on a piece of cardboard. We then got foil and pressed it onto the piece of cardboard to make it shine. ✨

We cut out each first initial of each resident and hot glued their initial to the foil. Our residents sure had a blast putting these together and they got to keep it and put it in their room! 🖼️

🌟 LONGMEADOW SUCCESS STORY 🌟

We are proud to celebrate the successful discharge home of Jose, who came to Longmeadow following a fall at home that resulted in a right distal femur fracture and a subsequent right distal femur replacement surgery. After just two weeks of rehabilitation, he has made an impressive recovery and is returning home safely. ✨

Throughout his stay, Jose worked hard in both Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy, consistently putting forth his best effort to regain his strength, mobility, and independence. 💪

His positive attitude and determination stood out from day one. No matter the challenge, he stayed focused on his goals, never complained, and was truly a pleasure to work with. 🙂

We are incredibly proud of the progress Jose made in such a short period of time and are excited to see him return home. Best of all, he is looking forward to being greeted by his two beloved dogs, who have undoubtedly missed him during his recovery. 🐶

Congratulations, Jose, on your hard work and successful return home! We wish you continued success as you continue your recovery. 🌟

🌟💙 SEMPTEMBER EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH 💙🌟

Help us celebrate and congratulate our Employee of the Month, Roger Onger! 🎉👏

During resident council, the residents were able to vote for who they think deserves employee of the month. After careful consideration, they have decided that Roger is our Employee of the Month for September. 😁

Roger's dedication, compassion, and commitment to caring for our residents truly make a difference each and every day. Being a CNA is so much more than a job—it takes patience, kindness, teamwork, and a genuine heart for helping others, and he demonstrate those qualities in everything he does. 💕

Thank you for all that you do for our residents, their families, and your fellow team members. We are incredibly grateful to have you as part of our team and are proud to recognize you for this well-deserved achievement! 🌟
