🇺🇸 This Independence Day, we celebrate the courage that built our nation.

As we gather with family and friends this Fourth of July, it’s worth remembering that horses played a remarkable role in America’s fight for freedom. They carried soldiers into battle, transported supplies, delivered critical messages, and stood faithfully beside those who served. They were silent partners in shaping our nation’s history.

But today, we also honor the true heroes behind that history—the brave men and women who have fought, and continue to fight, for the freedoms we enjoy every day. Their sacrifice, dedication, and courage are the foundation of our independence.

At CryoStride Equine, we’re grateful for the incredible partnership between horses and humans. Whether serving on the battlefield centuries ago or supporting us today through sport, work, therapy, and companionship, horses continue to give us so much.

This Independence Day, we thank those who have served our country—past and present—and we remember the horses who faithfully served beside them.

You came to this page to learn about cryotherapy. But first, let me take a minute to tell you why I’m in this business to begin with.

My name is Erin Davidson. I’ve always been an animal lover, but horses have been my constant joy for as long as I can remember.

I grew up in Canada and moved to the United States in my early twenties. Looking for a career that would allow me to help others, I became a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist and later earned my certification as an Equine Sports Massage Therapist. I was blessed with an 18-year career in massage therapy before transitioning into veterinary medicine, where I continued expanding my knowledge of equine care and breeding.

More than 22 years of serving both people and horses has been incredibly fulfilling and has led me to this exciting new chapter.

In today’s world of high-tech therapies and endless options for horse care, I wanted to build a business based on sound science—not a fad, but a therapy that has stood the test of time.

Cryotherapy uses extremely cold temperatures for a short period to help support the body’s natural response to inflammation and recovery. Many horse owners incorporate cryotherapy into their horses’ performance and wellness programs to help keep them feeling their best.

Cryotherapy may help support horses experiencing muscle soreness, training fatigue, swelling, soft tissue injuries, tendon and ligament strain, hoof inflammation, wound recovery, and other conditions where reducing inflammation, pain and supporting recovery are important goals.
