May every road that has been closed against my progress be opened through the power of Ògún.

May I never be defeated by fear, weakness, or the plans of my enemies.

May Ògún bless the work of my hands with success, honest wealth, and lasting prosperity.

May I be protected from accidents, violence, betrayal, and every hidden danger on every journey I take.

May my home, my family, and all that belongs to me remain under the protection of Ògún.

May I receive the courage to make wise decisions, the discipline to remain steadfast, and the strength to overcome every challenge.

Y’all… I hate seeing family under spiritual attack.
I just helped a sister who was kicked out, CPS called on her, all because of dark work from someone close.

I won’t let that slide.
Used ebo, cleansed her aura, called on the Orisha—and within days, the lies fell apart. She’s back home. Her kids are safe.

THEY CALLED IT "SUPERSTITION" UNTIL THEY NEEDED WHAT IT TAUGHT.

One of the greatest losses many Africans suffered was not just the loss of land.

It was the loss of confidence in their own wisdom.

Long before books about self awareness became bestsellers, IFÁ taught the importance of character. Long before people spoke about energy and alignment, our ancestors understood that actions carry consequences and that life must be lived in balance.

IFÁ was never just about sacrifice.

It is philosophy.
It is ethics.
It is observation.
It is memory.
It is guidance passed from one generation to another.

Our ancestors understood that human beings are both physical and spiritual. They knew that healing was not only about the body, but also about the mind, community, destiny, and the choices we make.

Some people were taught to see IFÁ and the Orishas through the eyes of fear. Others were taught to mock what they never took the time to understand.

But wisdom does not disappear because it is misunderstood.

You don't have to reject modern knowledge to honor ancient knowledge.

Two things can be true at once:
A person can believe in medicine and still respect spiritual wisdom.
A person can embrace progress and still remember where they came from.

The question is this:

If a tradition has survived slavery, colonization, migration, and centuries of misunderstanding... what truth has kept it alive?

Ifá teaches in Ọ̀SÁ Méjì that wisdom must guide power, and character must guide success.

A person may possess knowledge, influence, beauty, wealth, or spiritual gifts.

Yet without good character, these blessings can become the source of their downfall.

Ọ̀SÁ Méjì reminds us that the greatest danger is not always the enemy outside.

Sometimes, it is the pride, arrogance, impatience, or greed that grows unnoticed within.

The tree does not fall because it is weak.

It falls when decay begins from the inside.

Therefore, Ifá advises humanity to examine themselves regularly.

Correct what is hidden.
Strengthen what is good.
Remove what corrupts the heart.

For the person who conquers themselves has already conquered many battles.

When character walks with wisdom, prosperity endures.
When humility walks with power, destiny flourishes.

May we never lose our blessings through the misuse of our gifts.
