Nobody prepared me for the weirdest part of becoming a mom after TTC…

Mine was realizing I still sometimes count milestones, almost 8 years later-because I fought so hard to get here, every thing feels important. Every single little thing.

What surprised you?

Hey friends ❤️

It’s well past time I’m updated my own personal life and my journey. I wanted to share a little update as this page starts growing and changing with me.

When I first created this page, (about 8 years ago) it came from such a personal place in my life. It was a space centered around my journey of trying to conceive while navigating PCOS and hypothyroidism — sharing the highs, the lows, the waiting, the hope, and all of the emotions in between. That season of life shaped me in ways I’ll never forget, and connecting with so many of you through similar experiences meant more than I can put into words.

Life has a way of changing and growing when you least expect it, and it did. Right when I had changed directions in life, I found out I was pregnant with my oldest son( he’s 7 now) followed shortly by my daughter(6) & a few years later, my youngest son, whose 15 months.

I can’t explain why God blessed us the way he did after struggling for so long. But it was always in his plan & I firmly believe that. I know that’s not everyone’s journey, but I can’t ignore his hand in mine.

Today I’m in a completely different season — one that I’m incredibly thankful for. I’m now a mom of three amazing kids, ages 7, 5, and 1, and my days are filled with all the beautiful chaos that comes with motherhood.

As I continue this journey, I want this page to grow alongside me. You’ll still see me being real and sharing pieces of my heart, but now it’ll reflect more of the life I’m living today — motherhood, family, everyday moments, creating memories, the messy parts, the sweet parts, and everything in between.

This isn’t me leaving behind where this page began, because that journey will always be part of my story. It’s simply me embracing the chapter I’m in now.

I still struggle with PCOS which has recently been officially renamed to Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS) and always will unless something changes within our medical field. I will always have to take some sort of pill everyday for my thyroid to function properly.

Back to PCOS/PMOS, I think maybe now that it is going to be considered a metabolic condition , I’m hoping (fingers crossed) that it becomes more understood, & treatment becomes more focused and effective.

Hormone regulation, Insulin resistance/metabolism, menstrual and fertility issues, skin and hair symptoms, & long-term health risks such as diabetes and heart health are all issues millions of women with PCOS/PMOS live with.

The name has changed but the symptoms are the same, the criteria are still the same for now, (not all women who have PCOS/PMOS have cysts!) and right now that’s a must have criteria) and treatments haven’t suddenly changed because of the rename, but here’s to hoping for change, eventually. ❤️

I’m so thankful you’re here, whether you’ve been following from the beginning or you’re just joining me now. I’m excited for this next season and grateful to share it with you 🤍

I understand that this page may not be for everyone and I respect that. We all have different seasons of life to navigate, so if this page doesn’t fit what you are looking for anymore, I totally understand.

Thank you for taking the time to read if you did so.

Hope to see you continue this journey with me.

As a mother, I used to think comfort and success were tied to things I could show, things that looked like achievement from the outside, but now I find myself valuing moments that don’t make noise or need validation. There’s something deeply grounding about mornings that aren’t rushed, where I can sit with my child and actually hear their thoughts instead of hurrying them through the day. It makes me realize how much of life gets lost when everything is about speed and pressure. The quiet in my home feels like the kind of wealth I never knew I needed, the kind that doesn’t fade when the world gets busy again. In those simple moments, I feel most at peace with the life I’m building. 🌿
