1) We are all subject to an oppressive system in some capacity.

2) Uniting is less stressful than focusing on divisions.

3) Posts labeled as red or blue are designed to be divisive.

A snippet from a mid-contract survey from a school was contracted for.

Q. When your DEI consultant's contract expires, what do you want to be able to say you’ve learned from having access to a DEI professional?

A. Pushing ourselves to challenge our assumption that we have no biases feels important. By this, I mean that while it is easy for some of us to admit that we have biases, having you on board gives us a better leg to stand on and a better chance of upping our game in a more timely way.

Thoughts?
