Good Friday. Jesus willingly gave His life so that the way to God could be opened.

If you are ready to respond to what Jesus has done, you can pray:

Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and that I need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and that the punishment I deserved was placed on You. I believe that You rose again.
I turn from my sin and come to You. Because of what You have finished, I receive Your forgiveness and Your righteousness.
I receive You as my Lord. I surrender my life to You. Be the ruler of my life from this day forward.
Thank You that through You, the way to God has been opened. Thank You for bringing me near and giving me eternal life.

“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good.
His love endures forever.”
Psalm 136:1

Today, pause, remember who our God is and all He has done for us. Every truth we cling to as believers leads us to gratitude. As we celebrate Thanksgiving, may these foundational truths stir worship in every heart:

We thank God for His Word
The perfect, sufficient, unchanging truth that lights our path and transforms our lives. His love endures forever.
(2 Timothy 3:16; Psalm 119)

We thank God for who He is
Holy, sovereign, faithful, our Creator and King. His love endures forever.
(Psalm 136:3; Isaiah 40:28)

We thank God for Jesus Christ
Our Savior, our peace, our righteousness, the One who redeemed us by His blood. His love endures forever.
(John 3:16; Romans 5:8)

We thank God for the Holy Spirit
Our Helper, Comforter, Teacher, and the seal of our redemption. His love endures forever.
(John 14:26; Ephesians 1:13–14)

We thank God for creating us in His image
With purpose, dignity, and value that nothing can steal. His love endures forever.
(Genesis 1:27; Psalm 139:13–14)

We thank God for His mercy toward our sin
He does not leave us in our brokenness but calls us to forgiveness and freedom. His love endures forever.
(Romans 3:23–24)

We thank God for His saving grace
A gift we could never earn, but joyfully receive through faith in Jesus. His love endures forever.
(Ephesians 2:8–9)

We thank God for the Church
The family of believers He designed so we never walk alone. His love endures forever.
(Colossians 3:16; Acts 2:42–47)

We thank God that the story isn’t over
Jesus is coming again to make all things new. His love endures forever.
(Revelation 21:3–5; Titus 2:13)

Wherever you are this Thanksgiving, may gratitude fill your heart as you reflect on the unchanging truth:

His steadfast love endures forever
For you, your family, and your future
