I’ve been following Dr. Nicole Labor for a while now, and her teaching style just clicks for me. She explains the real function of the brain in addiction — straight, clear, and without overcomplicating it.

Finding someone in this field whose education lines up with the actual science matters. When you hear someone teach it in a way that finally makes sense, it reminds you why this work is so important.

This is Part 1 of her Neurobiology of Addiction series, and it’s a solid place to start.

DanaCare is organizing a Trunk-or-Treat event on Saturday, October 25th from 12pm–5pm.

The event will be held in the parking lot of the Kenosha Professional Park located at 6530 Sheridan Rd in Kenosha (across from St. George Cemetery).

Here’s how you can help:

Volunteer to park and hand out candy to trick or treaters.
Donate candy, gift certificates, or small prizes.
Contribute raffle prizes.

Small business owners, this is a great way to advertise your business!

Good morning,
The water at DanaCare had to be turned off due to work on Sheridan Road in front of the entrance. The Office will be closed until the water is able to be turned back on. Due to the cold temperatures this week we are unsure how long this will take. Appointments are still available, appointments can be made via phone, website, or your patient portal.
