🔬 What is third party testing?

It means an independent lab checks a product to verify what’s in it and screen for common contaminants.

It’s one more way to better understand what a COA is telling you.

🌿 Serving Size- Small Detail, BIG Difference! 🔎

When you’re looking at a h**p product, one of the most important things to understand is the serving size.

So, what exactly does that mean?

Serving size tells you the amount of the product that the label uses as one serving. Depending on the product, that might be one gummy, half a gummy, a measured amount of oil, or another specific quantity.

And here’s where things can get confusing… 👀

A number displayed on the package may refer to the total amount in the entire container, not necessarily the amount in a single serving.

For example, imagine a container has 20 gummies and 500 mg of a cannabinoid in the entire package. If one gummy is one serving and the cannabinoid is evenly distributed, that would equal 25 mg per gummy, not 500 mg per gummy.

That’s a pretty important difference! 😳

Before trying a h**p product, take a moment to check
🌿 What is the serving size?
🔢 How many milligrams are in each serving?
📦 How many servings are in the package?

People commonly confuse milligrams per package, milligrams per serving, and serving size, but they don’t necessarily mean the same thing.

Don’t let the biggest number on the package tell the whole story. Read the label, know your serving size, and understand what those milligrams actually represent.

A few seconds of label reading can make you a much more informed h**p consumer. 🌿🔎

Know the serving. Know the milligrams. Know what you’re getting.

🎃🍂Something spooky is hiding on this label... 👻

October is finally here, and we are taking a quick look at what is inside the Path Finder gummies.

These Cherry Blast gummies combine 25 mg of h**p derived Delta 9 THC and 10 mg of CBC per gummy, for a total of 35 mg of cannabinoids per gummy.

🔎 What is CBC?
CBC (cannabichromene) is a naturally occurring cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant. It interacts with the body’s endocannabinoid system and other signaling pathways and is being studied for its potential role in areas including mood, comfort, and overall wellness, without CBC itself causing a high.

Different cannabinoids interact with the body differently, so knowing which cannabinoids are in your product and how much of each you’re getting is important. 🌿

Know what’s in your gummy. Know your milligrams.

Full Spectrum vs. Broad Spectrum
What’s the difference?

If you’ve ever looked at a h**p product and wondered what these terms actually mean, you’re not alone! Understanding the difference can help you know a little more about what you’re purchasing.

Full Spectrum products contain a range of naturally occurring compounds from the h**p plant, including multiple cannabinoids, terpenes, and some THC.💚

Broad Spectrum products can also contain multiple cannabinoids and other plant compounds, but the THC is typically removed or reduced to very low levels.🍃

So, which one is better? Neither is automatically better than the other. They’re simply different types of formulations, and what matters is understanding what’s actually in the product you’re considering.

That’s also why we encourage customers to read the label, ask questions, and check the third party lab results (COA). 🔎

At Breathe Freely, we want you to understand what you’re buying, not just recognize the words on the package. 🌿

🌿 What is C*D? Let’s take a closer look.

C*D, short for cannabidiol, is one of the many naturally occurring cannabinoids found in the h**p plant.

C*D is commonly described as non psychoactive and non intoxicating, meaning it does not produce the “high” typically associated with delta 9 THC. More precisely, C*D can influence signaling in the brain and body, but it does not produce the same intoxicating effects as THC.

🧠 How does C*D interact with the body?

C*D interacts with the body’s endocannabinoid system, or ECS, a communication system made up of cannabinoid receptors, naturally produced endocannabinoids, and enzymes.

The ECS is involved in many everyday processes, including:

• Mood and stress response
• Sleep and wake cycles
• Appetite
• Immune signaling
• Pain perception
• Maintaining overall balance, or homeostasis

Unlike THC, C*D does not strongly activate the body’s CB1 receptors. Instead, researchers believe C*D influences the endocannabinoid system in more indirect ways, which is one reason its effects are different from THC.

🌿 Why do people use C*D?

C*D is commonly included in wellness routines focused on maintaining a sense of calm, supporting relaxation, managing everyday stress, and promoting overall balance.

🧴 What kinds of products contain C*D?

C*D can be found in many different forms, including:

💧 Oils and tinctures
🍬 Gummies and other edibles
💊 Capsules and soft gels
🧴 Topicals such as creams, balms, and lotions

Each type is used differently. An oil taken orally is absorbed differently than a topical applied to the skin, which is why it is important to understand both the product and the serving information on the label.

💡 Why learn about C*D?

Understanding what C*D is, how it interacts with the endocannabinoid system, and how different products are formulated can make choosing a h**p product much less confusing.

At Breathe Freely, we believe education should come before guesswork. If you have questions about C*D, cannabinoids, product labels, serving information, or third party lab results, our team is happy to help you understand what you’re looking at.

🌿 Have you ever wondered how C*D works with your body’s endocannabinoid system?

🌿 Let’s break down a four cannabinoid label together.

Brightside Supply’s White Cherry gummies contain four different cannabinoids, making this a good example of why it’s important to look beyond the front of the package.

Per gummy, the label lists:

✨ 10 mg THC
🌿 25 mg C*D
🌙 25 mg CBN
🍃 25 mg CBC

So what does that actually mean?

THC is a psychoactive cannabinoid, which makes understanding the amount per serving especially important.

C*D is a non psychoactive cannabinoid commonly found on h**p product labels and in multi cannabinoid formulas.

CBN is another cannabinoid you may see in formulas marketed for nighttime.

CBC is a less known, non psychoactive cannabinoid that can also appear alongside C*D, CBN, THC, and other cannabinoids.

The important part? Don’t judge a product by one number or one cannabinoid. Look at the entire label.

🔎 Check the amount per serving
📦 Compare it with the total amount in the package
🌿 Look at the complete cannabinoid profile
🧪 Review the third-party lab results or COA
⚠️ Read the warnings and directions

Understanding the label gives you a clearer picture of what’s actually in the product before you make a decision.
