Hello everyone! I have been thinking a lot the last few days and reaching out to my fellow massage therapists to see how they’re handling all of this. The consensus everywhere seems to be that they’re waiting until at least June 1st. Including all of the therapists at the Salon. Massage is different then getting your hair done. We’re in a small confined space breathing the same air and it’s difficult to require masks when you’re face down. Also, yesterday alone, there were over 200 people in the Salon. With that being said I’d really like to see how the next few weeks play out. I’m doing my best to keep everyone including myself safe and healthy. I’m also still waiting on many of the PPE supplies I ordered. So hang in there a little bit longer and I will reach out to all of you again next week to begin scheduling.
Following is a list of information you will need to know before your next appointment. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask.
-All clients of the Salon on Rahn must wait in their car until 5 minutes before their appointment.
-You must have an appointment to enter the building. You may not bring anyone including children with you to your appointment unless there is a medical need
-All clients must stop at the front desk to have their temperature taken. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4° or higher will not be permitted in the salon
-All employees are required to wear a mask while at the salon. Clients are not required but we highly recommend it.
-While supine (face up) during your massage you will be required to wear a face covering.
-No magazines or refreshments will be provided currently. You are welcome to bring your own reading material and drink.
-Accepted forms of payment will be cash, check, or Venmo. If paying by check please have your check filled out before your appointment. I am not accepting credit cards at this time. I use my phone for that and It’s best I don’t have multiple people touching my personal cell phone.
-Online booking will not be available and the front desk will not be booking appointments except by phone until further notice.
-No hot stone or couples massage will be permitted until further notice
-There will be a PRICE INCREASE due to many factors consisting of, PPE products, cleaning materials, and extra time being allocated for cleaning in between clients.
-Pricing as followed:
*60 minute massage $75
*90 minute massage $105
*120 minute massage $150
-I will not be offering 30 min Massages
-If you cancel your appointment last Min you will be charged full price. Obviously things happen..this is more so people don’t take up spots when I have multiple people trying to get in.
