At Advanced Billing Solutions, we believe successful billing isn’t just about getting claims submitted within 24 hours—it’s about getting those claims paid.

Our goal is simple: every clean claim we submit should be paid, and whenever possible, within 30 days.

We don’t write off claims simply because they’re difficult. If a claim isn’t paid, we’re actively working it. The only exception is when a claim cannot be paid due to an authorization issue or lack of authorization. (Our clients process their own authorizations—we provide the forms, guidance, and support throughout that process.)

Of course, some things are outside anyone’s control. Payer system conversions, delayed provider enrollments, credentialing updates, and processing errors can all slow payments. But those delays should never mean your claim is forgotten.

One of the most important reports a provider should review is their insurance aging report. If claims are sitting month after month with no movement, that’s a conversation you should be having with your biller. Every unpaid claim should have a reason, an action plan, and ongoing follow-up. While some claims truly can take months to resolve, you should always know why and what is being done to get them paid.

Hi! I’m the owner and operator of Advanced Billing Solutions. One thing you’ll notice about Advanced Billing Solutions is that I don’t spend a lot of time listing every service I offer. Like many billing companies, I provide full-service behavioral health credentialing and billing from start to finish.

What makes me different is the experience behind those services.

I’ve dedicated my entire career since graduating high school to medical billing, with the last 15+ years specializing exclusively in behavioral health. Before starting Advanced Billing Solutions, I served as the Billing Manager for a large community mental health agency with more than 114 employees.

During those years, I managed billing for private insurance, Medicare, and Oregon Medicaid across a wide range of programs, including child and adult outpatient services, SUD treatment, residential programs, respite, day treatment, and more.

My experience extends far beyond claim submission. I managed credentialing, recredentialing, payer contracting, provider enrollments, CAQH maintenance, and worked closely with Oregon DHS and coordinated care organizations to ensure providers remained compliant and reimbursed appropriately.

I’m familiar with billing for nearly every behavioral health provider type, including:

Mental health providers of Klamath County… I’m headed your way! 💛

I’m spending time out in our community connecting with the incredible providers who dedicate their lives to helping others. If there’s one thing I know after 28+ years in medical billing, it’s this: the insurance world never stops changing.

CareOregon changes… the CHA team-based model… Providence now requiring taxonomy codes… OHA’s changes affecting registered associates… and that’s just scratching the surface. Keeping up with payer requirements can feel like a full-time job all on its own.

I started medical billing right out of high school, working in both dental and behavioral health before dedicating the last 15+ years to mental health billing.
