For those who don’t know me—my name is Cora, and I’ve been in the medical billing industry for over 28 years, with the last 15 years dedicated solely to mental health billing.

Back in January 2018, I started Advanced Billing Solutions, right here in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Before that, I worked in the agency world where I gained firsthand experience with the ins and outs of every major payer across the state. That’s where I learned how to maximize revenue, navigate payer requirements, and keep claims moving quickly and accurately.

Over the years, I’ve billed for nearly everything—child & adult therapy, SUD services, respite, and residential care. These days, I specialize exclusively in mental health therapy billing. I’ve also helped set up more practices across Oregon than I can count on two hands—helping providers make the leap into private practice with confidence.

For the past several years, I’ve kept my client list full… but now, for a limited time, Advanced Billing Solutions has a small window for new billing clients.

👉🏻 We are seeking full-time, sole practitioners (no groups at this time) who are starting a private practice or considering a switch in billing services.
👉🏻 We use Valant EHR exclusively for our clients to ensure smooth, efficient billing processes.

’Twas the week before Christmas, and all through the office, not a biller was calm — the stress level was atrocious.
The claims were all queued in the clearinghouse line,
Hoping St. Payer would pay them on time.

Denials were dancing in our heads with great glee,
While we whispered, “Please don’t need a corrected 837P…”
Coffee was brewed, and spreadsheets were tight,
CAQH reminders pinging all through the night.

Then out of the inbox there arose such a clatter,
A remittance arrived — could this finally matter?!
We opened it fast with hope in our eyes…
Paid in full?! A true Christmas surprise!

So here’s to our providers, our clients, our crew,
To clean claims, fewer denials, and payments come through.
