When additional breast imaging is needed, our breast center team utilizes contrast mammography, an advanced imaging technology, to evaluate suspicious breast findings, newly diagnosed breast cancers, and other complex breast health concerns.

Contrast Mammography provides valuable information similar to breast MRI with benefits that include:
✔ Shorter exam time
✔ Greater comfort for many patients
✔ More convenient access
✔ Lower cost than MRI in many cases
✔ An option for some patients who cannot undergo MRI

In recognition of National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we're honored to share the story of 9-year-old Walter "Wally" Davis. After completing treatment for a rare brain cancer, Wally is turning his journey into a source of hope for others. As the youngest Proton Ambassador at Covenant Health Proton Center, he's helping encourage children and families who are facing cancer treatment.
