The Healthy Hurried Human made its way to Google Atlanta. ❤️

This week, Foxygen Consulting had the opportunity to bring our Healthy Hurried Human Lab & Appraisal to a group of Google leaders for a full day of conversation, learning, reflection and application.

What I loved most was watching the conversation move beyond leadership and into something much bigger: How do we take better care of the humans at every level of an organization?

Because workplace pressure doesn’t only live in the C-suite or middle management. And when the people closest to the day-to-day work aren’t doing well, the impact moves through the entire organization.

That is exactly why we built HHH.

Eight hours. Eight indicators of healthy human functioning. A whole lot of really good conversation. And some exciting conversations about where this work could go next.

Grateful for the opportunity, and very excited about what may be ahead.

And yes… Katherine and I obviously had to get the Google Atlanta picture. 😂

Last week I had the opportunity to facilitate a Working Genius training and once again saw those familiar lightbulb moments happen around the room.

When people understand where they naturally bring energy, where they add value, and where they tend to experience frustration, communication improves, collaboration improves, and work becomes a little more human.

Every team has talent.

Not every team has a shared language to talk about it.

That’s what I love about this work.

In this weeks Highlights… Foxygen was asked to participate in the International DECA Conference as judges held at the GA World Congress Center. We sat in front of 80 high school students as they pitched their business ideas! Let me tell ya… these were some real impressive students and it was a complete joy to participate! Next up; Michelle was asked to step in for a cancelled speaker at a Ladies Derby themed luncheon! Lots of hats and laughs! A full but excellent week!
