Safe in His Care
“Whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm.” — Proverbs 1:33
As caregivers, we often carry heavy burdens. We worry about children who have experienced trauma, difficult behaviors, limited resources, and an uncertain future. Yet God reminds us that while we cannot control every circumstance, we can trust the One who does.
God faithfully cared for Elijah during a famine and protected His people even in the darkest times. He is still the same faithful God today. When you feel overwhelmed, remember that the children in your care—and you—are safely held in His hands.
Listen for His wisdom each day. Let His Word quiet your fears and guide your decisions. Your peace becomes a powerful gift to the children you serve, showing them what it looks like to trust God in every season.
Prayer: Lord, help me care for others from a place of peace instead of fear. Fill my heart with Your wisdom, strengthen me for today’s challenges, and remind me that You are faithfully caring for both me and the children You have entrusted to my care. Amen.
