Hey mamas — how are we doing with back-to-school? 😅
We’re a couple weeks in now, and if things feel a little… off at home, you’re not alone.
New routines, earlier mornings, more noise, more social demands, more expectations — it’s a LOT for little nervous systems to adapt to.
So if you’re seeing bigger emotions, more meltdowns, bedtime struggles, clinginess, sensory overwhelm, or a kid who just seems to need more downtime lately… take a breath. 🤍
It doesn’t necessarily mean something is wrong. Their bodies may just be working hard to adjust.
A little extra connection, movement, outdoor time, quiet, and rest can go a long way. Gentle, nervous-system-focused support, like CFT, can be another helpful piece.
You don’t have to do it perfectly. Just keep giving their little nervous systems opportunities to come back to connection, safety, and recovery.
Save this for the days when everyone is a little out of sorts and if you are looking for extra support for your kiddo, I’m here to support you and them. 🤍
