We can’t wait to see you at Knox Tots Pediatric Dentistry this Wednesday, September 16, from 1–3 p.m.!

If your kids need a little structure and something meaningful to do during the Knox County Schools half-day, bring them by Knox Tot Pediatric Dentistry for art and sensory play with Morgan + Cabby , playful dental learning with certified child life specialists from Bridge to Bravery Coping Consultants, LLC and a chance to explore dental tools in a fun, pressure-free way.

Think of it as a healthcare field trip that comes to YOU. Our Certified Child Life Specialists bring hands-on healthcare education, realistic medical play, coping skills + curriculum-connected learning right into the classroom.

Every child designs + takes home their own stuffed animal patient or procedure doll

CAMP DAY FIVE RECAP!

Our last day was filled with fun! Our campers got to be doctors and nurses at our Teddy Bear Clinic! We are so proud of how well they cared for their patients 👩🏻‍⚕️🥼🩺

We are so sad that camp has come to an end! We hope your kiddos had as much fun as we did!

CAMP DAY THREE RECAP

We are officially over halfway through camp!

We are loving getting to know our campers and explore all things medical with them! We had so much fun today making our very own stress balls with balloons and baking soda! We also made our own first aid kits stocked full of the essentials when a boo boo occurs!

We are excited to share more exciting moments with our campers over the next two days!

CAMP DAY TWO RECAP!

Healthcare Heroes Camp is well underway!

Our campers are having the best time!

Today we used masks commonly used for anesthesia to blow bubbles. By using this commonly used medical tool in a fun way it helps our campers explore and familiarize themselves with it! This helps to prevent future trauma and fear should they ever need to breathe medicine in through a mask!

We are excited about what the rest of the week has in store!

Our Healthcare Hero Camps are proudly inclusive. We welcome children of ALL abilities, including neurodivergent children. Our activities are child-led, sensory-conscious, and designed by Certified Child Life Specialists who understand how to support a wide range of learning styles, communication needs, and comfort levels.
