In case you don't know me, here are a few of the things I'm involved in. I've been a chiropractor since 2004 and moved to Kotzebue in 2007 and am now an owner of Arctic Chiropractic Kotzebue. I serve on the Kotzebue Lions Club board and have been a member since 2007. I sit on the Local Beverage Control Board (LBCB) and have been the chair and vice-chair at different times since that board was formed 5 years ago. I've sponsor a co-ed softball team for the past 3 years, and have put on the Mosquito Haven Half-Marathon (in conjunction with The City and other volunteers) for the past 2 years. I am the Area Chairman of the Kotzebue Ducks Unlimited and have put on major fundraiser event and raffle for the past 3 years. Other activities I've been involved with include the Archie Ferguson/ Willie Goodwin Snowmachine Race, the Gunner 120 race, and the Kobuk 440 dogsled race. In 2004 I married my wife, Rachel, and we have a 2-year-old daughter, Abby. I enjoy hunting, fishing and trapping and spending time outdoors. Since I moved to Kotzebue, I have seen many positive changes and opportunities for healthy growth in this community. I would like to help Kotzebue continue to rise as a community and grow to be a place where people love to live and visit.
