What started as a creative outlet has quickly become something I genuinely love making. After sharing these at an event last night, I thought I’d officially introduce them here.

These candles & roller blends are inspired by the little things that can help a home feel cozier & calmer. One thing I love about the candles is that they are noticeable enough to enjoy, but not overwhelming.

One of my favorite parts about the vestibular system is how differently adults and children tend to respond to movement. 👀

Many adults become more cautious with spinning, heights, fast movement, rollercoasters, or activities that put their head in an upside down position.

Kids, on the other hand, are often actively seeking those movement experiences because their bodies are still developing and learning through movement.

The spinning, climbing, crashing, rolling, hanging upside down, and constant movement are often children getting the input their bodies are asking for.

Once you start understanding the vestibular system, so many things about childhood begin to make more sense. 🌀

Led by a pediatric PT & pediatric OT, this series is intentionally designed to support the whole child in a way that feels natural & supportive for families.

Each week will include outdoor play, developmental education, movement opportunities, caregiver connection & support, and practical strategies you can actually use in your everyday life.

Families are welcome to join us for one session or all four weeks!

📍 Location: Miracle League Park (2790 Miracle League Dr. Dubuque, IA)
📅 Dates: June 2, 9, 16, 23
⏰ Times:
• Babies (0–12 months): 8:30–9:15 AM
• Toddlers (1–3 years): 9:30-10:15 AM

Today is World Maternal Mental Health Day 🤍

As someone who works with moms during such a sacred time in their lives, I think it’s really important to talk about this.

The postpartum period changes so much: your body, identity, routines, nervous system, relationships, and sense of self. And 1 in 5 women experience a perinatal mental health condition.

ONE in FIVE.

And while babywearing isn’t a cure, research is showing it can be a meaningful support tool during the postpartum period. It really is so much more than having your hands free.

Maternal mental health matters. And moms deserve support that encompasses more than just caring for the baby.
