Many of us spend years living by definitions we inherited from family, culture, relationships, or past experiences.

This week's reading invites you to consider where your own voice is ready to become stronger. The cards speak to self-worth, personal authority, and the intentional use of time and energy.

As you read your message, reflect on where you've been following someone else's definition of success, fulfillment, or purpose, and where you are ready to create your own.

Take what resonates and leave the rest.

You don't have to live within the confines of how other people have defined you.
Where are you ready to stop adapting and start defining?

Choose the card that calls to you; may it reveal a part of yourself that's been waiting for permission to take up more space.

Time and time again, I come back to the same question: have I been choosing my life or simply responding to it?

American society grooms us to be incredibly skilled at adapting. We adjust to expectations, circumstances, responsibilities, and the needs of the people around us. It's a valuable skill, but most people get lost in it at some point and stop actively creating the lives they want, instead managing the life that has unfolded.

This theme inspired my first blog post: How to Stop Adapting and Start Defining Your Life. If you've ever felt like you're on autopilot or struggling to connect with what you actually want, I wrote it with you in mind.

For 28 years, I adapted to expectations, social norms, and who I thought I needed to be in order to be accepted, successful, or loved. The more I adapted, the further I drifted from myself. So, I had to start asking different questions:

✨ What do I actually want?
✨ What parts of my life are aligned, and what parts have I compromised?
✨ Who am I when I stop defining myself through other people's expectations?

Those questions changed everything.

Today, I'm excited to share the VERY FIRST POST on the Untamed Soulworks blog:
✍🏼 How to Stop Adapting and Start Defining Your Life

In this article, I share a simple three-step process to help you:
✨ Identify where you're adapting instead of choosing
✨ Reconnect with your authentic self
✨ Take meaningful steps toward a life that feels more aligned

If you've been feeling disconnected from yourself, stuck in old patterns, or unsure of who you are beneath everyone else's expectations, this post is for you.

This week has been a reminder that life doesn't organize itself around our plans. There are seasons for pushing forward, creating, building, and checking things off, and there are moments when something unexpected needs attention.

When that happens, I've learned that the goal isn't to force myself to stay on track at all costs; it's to adjust. To give my energy to what matters most in the moment and trust that everything else will still be there when I return to it.

Life has a way of rearranging priorities.

This week, we've been navigating some unexpected health concerns with our dog. It's one of those situations where there are still responsibilities to manage, work to do, and things that need attention, but my heart and focus are somewhere else.

So if I've been a little quieter than usual, that's why. I'm in full mom-mode, prioritizing next steps for Cosmo's care. I'm still here, just juggling more and trying to make our pup as comfortable as possible until we can get him the help he needs!

This week's reading explores perspectives that may help you navigate your current season with greater clarity, compassion, and self-awareness. The cards speak to hidden truths, finding light alongside difficulty, and building a healthier relationship with your emotions.

As you read your message, consider where a shift in perspective might create more space for understanding, healing, or growth. Take what resonates and leave the rest.

Sometimes clarity comes from looking at the situation through a different lens. Take a moment, trust your intuition, and choose the card that calls to you.

Results will be posted tomorrow.

One of the biggest misconceptions about tarot is that it's about having someone predict your future or make decisions for you.

That has never been how I approach it. For me, tarot is a tool for reflection, clarity, and self-awareness. It highlights patterns, reveals blind spots, and can help you explore possibilities.

At the end of the day, no matter what the cards say, your life is yours to create.

With my readings, the goal isn't dependence; it's a stronger relationship with yourself.

You know those moments when you mentally juggle a whole bunch of things at once and then realize that none of them actually need your attention right then? That happened to me multiple times this week!

Overthinking can create a false sense of productivity, but just because you are mentally holding everything doesn't mean you're in control. What that internal noise actually does is pull you away from the moments you're supposed to be present in.
