POSTPARTUM MOM APPROVED! 🔔

I love this concept from .restorativeroots , offering postpartum freezer meals made with organic and regenerative ingredients.

A thoughtful resource to save, share, or gift to a new mom! ✨

She’ll smile when she’s exhausted. Show up when she’s overwhelmed. Say “I’m fine” when she’s barely holding it together. She’ll care for everyone else while quietly wondering who is caring for her.

Motherhood can be beautiful and heavy at the same time. And sometimes, the strongest thing a mother can do is let someone see what’s underneath the “I’m okay.”

It offers reassurance, education, and expert guidance to help parents understand that scary thoughts are more common than they realize... and that help and healing are possible.

Y'all! Insurance coverage for doula services. YESSSSS!

I have some exciting news to share!

One of the biggest desires of my heart has always been to make doula care more accessible for families. That's why I'm so grateful to share that I am now **accepting Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) insurance** for my doula services! If you have BCBS, your insurance may help cover the cost of having a doula by your side during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

If you're expecting, or know someone who is, I'd love to help you check your benefits and answer any questions you have. Feel free to send me a message or tag a mama who might be encouraged by this news!

This one’s for the moms 🤎

We hear it all the time in therapy—“I feel like I should be doing more.” ⟡ You’re often your own toughest critic, placing so many expectations on yourself that it’s hard to notice everything you’re already doing. Try giving those thoughts different language and open the door to more self-compassion.

Sometimes the words we speak become the beliefs we carry. 🗣️

So today, I challenge you to speak what you want to believe about yourself.

✨ I am enough, even when I don’t do it all.
✨ I don’t have to earn rest.
✨ My worth isn’t measured by my productivity.
✨ I am allowed to set boundaries without feeling guilty.
✨ I can make mistakes and still be a good mom, partner, friend, or woman.
✨ I don’t have to compare my journey to anyone else’s.
✨ I am resilient, even on the days I feel weak.
✨ I deserve the same compassion I so freely give to everyone else.

The more we repeat these truths, the easier they become to believe. And the things we believe about ourselves shape how we show up in every part of our lives.

⭐️ BOOK SPOTLIGHT ⭐️

One of my favorite recommendations for couples, especially those navigating parenthood and the mental load of family life, is Fair Play by Eve Rodsky.

This book goes beyond dividing chores. It explores the often invisible labor of running a household and offers a practical system for creating a more equitable partnership through communication, shared ownership, and mutual respect.

As a therapist, I often see how resentment grows not because one partner doesn’t want to help, but because the invisible work goes unseen and unspoken. Fair Play gives couples a common language to talk about these challenges before they become major sources of conflict.
