I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy who helps Disney travelers train for their next trip like it’s an endurance event so they can walk all day, feel strong in their bodies, and come home energized instead of wrecked.

Cheers to 34 years!

Since moving to Central Florida, life felt like a whirlwind, and this past year was no different.

Updating our house took most of our energy (anyone remember the massive landscaping project we took on?!), but along the way…

-Our Ever Active Society family started and is still growing
-I ran my first runDisney race, first marathon, and first D***y
-We traveled… *a lot*

And not everything this last year was happy and exciting. I also…

-Lost a loved one to cancer
-Had several family health emergencies

Along the way, I took a big step forward in my business and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. It’s made me learn more about myself than I would have otherwise.

All that to say, THANK YOU for your support as I share my story and listen to yours. Here’s to continuing this wonderful journey on our Spaceship Earth.

Let’s keep moving forward.

Between the packing, the early flight or the long drive, and getting everyone fed and out the door, day 1 of a Disney trip usually starts with an energy deficit.

Then the park adds its own demands on top of that: hours on your feet before lunch, no real sit-down until dinner, kiddos running on excitement while the adults are running on coffee.

People are more honest about this than you’d think: plenty of guests say they were wrecked by mid-afternoon of day 1, not day 4.

The thing is, the collapse just moves earlier when you show up *already* behind.

Here’s the piece worth knowing ahead of time: a body with some built-up capacity handles that first-day deficit differently. It may not be fully immune to it, but it has more room before it runs out.

If day 1 has ever hit you harder than you expected it to, that’s not a fluke. That’s what an unprepared body does with no buffer left to spend.

What time did you actually start feeling it on your last trip’s first day?
