I can usually predict whether someone is going to reach their goals by looking at just 3 days of their week.
Friday. Saturday. Sunday.
For a lot of women, Monday through Thursday actually looks pretty damn good. You’re getting your workouts in, prioritizing protein, drinking more water and making intentional choices.
Then Friday rolls around.
Maybe it’s dinner out and a couple drinks. Saturday gets busy and there’s less structure. Sunday turns into “I’ll just start back Monday.”
And Monday? You’re right back at it.
But here’s what I want you to consider:
Monday through Thursday is only 4 days.
That’s 57% of your week.
If you showed up to work 57% of the time, would you expect 100% of your paycheck?
Probably not.
So why do we expect our bodies to respond differently?
I think this is where a lot of women get it wrong.
They assume the answer is to become MORE disciplined Monday through Thursday. Work out harder. Eat “cleaner.” Cut more calories. Try to be more perfect.
But Monday probably isn’t your problem.
You’ve already proven you can make intentional choices when life is structured.
The real opportunity is learning how to navigate the other 43% of your week without feeling like you have to choose between your goals and actually having a life.
That doesn’t mean skipping date night, never having dessert, saying no to vacations or turning down a margarita because it “doesn’t fit the plan.”
It means learning how to enjoy those things without letting one meal turn into an entire weekend of “f**k it, I’ll start again Monday.”
There is a HUGE difference.
Your body doesn’t know it’s the weekend. It doesn’t give you bonus points for being perfect on Tuesday or punish you for eating at a restaurant on Saturday.
It responds to the patterns you repeat over time.
You can’t keep treating 43% of your life like it doesn’t count and wondering why 100% of the results aren’t showing up.
