🍂 Motherhood has seasons, too.

Some bring new beginnings. Others bring shifting routines, big feelings, or the realization that you need a little extra support. Whatever season you’re in, there’s a place for you here. 🤍

Join us for Changing Seasons of Motherhood, a conversation about navigating transitions, carrying the mental load, and caring for yourself along the way. Whether you’re adjusting to life with a new baby or finding your footing in a different stage of motherhood, you don’t have to figure it all out alone.

Come as you are. You don’t need to have the right words or have it all together.

You are not alone. You are not to blame. With help, you will be well. 🤍

Postpartum mental health struggles are real, common, and deserving of care. Depression, anxiety, OCD, birth trauma, and other perinatal mental health concerns can affect anyone, and speaking up should never be met with shame, dismissal, or silence.

If you’re struggling, please reach out. Tell someone you trust. Talk to your provider. Ask for help. You do not have to wait until things feel unbearable to deserve support.

And if a mom tells you she isn’t okay: listen to her. Believe her. Help her get connected to support.

You are not alone.
You are not to blame.
With help, you will be well. đź’™

A little update for my mamas from last week’s group 🤍

Due to some unexpected circumstances, I’m a little behind on getting your follow-up emails and coping skills sent out. I haven’t forgotten about you!

Everything will be headed to your inboxes over the weekend. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding while I get caught up. 🌿

And thank you again to everyone who joined us last week. I’m so grateful you were there. 🤍

One of the reasons this support group was created was to give moms a place to come together, learn, connect, and feel more confident advocating for themselves and their mental health. 🤍

There is so much beauty in pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood, but there are also realities we don’t talk about nearly enough.

With maternal mental health being part of some difficult conversations in the media right now, this month feels like an important time to come back to the basics. We’ll be talking about perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, what they can actually look like, what to watch for, and how and when to reach out for support.

We’ll also make space to talk about how these conversations may be affecting us, especially for those reflecting back on their own pregnancy or postpartum experiences.

You are not alone. You are not to blame. With help, you will be well. 🤍

Motherhood changes us in beautiful ways, but sometimes, along the way, we lose sight of who we are outside of being “Mom.”

This month, we’re talking about identity erosion: the quiet process of feeling disconnected from the woman you once were. Together, we’ll explore how to honor every version of ourselves while making space for the woman we’re becoming.

Come as you are. We’d love to have you.

✨ Let us know you’re coming!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers.

To the moms holding babies in their arms, and the moms holding them only in their hearts.
To the women longing to become mothers.
To those navigating infertility, pregnancy loss, infant loss, or complicated journeys to parenthood.
To the single moms, stepmoms, foster moms, adoptive moms, bonus moms, grieving moms, and chosen moms.
To the moms doing their best while carrying invisible exhaustion, anxiety, or heartbreak.
To those missing their own mothers today.

Motherhood exists in so many forms, and every story carries value, love, and sacrifice.

Today, I’m holding space for all of it. 🤍

Hyperemesis gravidarum is more than “severe morning sickness.” It can impact every part of a person’s wellbeing, including mental health. Research shows that experiencing hyperemesis during pregnancy can increase the risk for PMADs (Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders), including anxiety, depression, OCD, and postpartum depression.

As both a maternal mental health therapist and someone who experienced hyperemesis throughout pregnancy myself, I know how isolating and emotionally exhausting it can feel. When your body is in survival mode for months, it can take a real toll mentally and emotionally too.

If you are struggling during pregnancy or after birth, you are not weak, ungrateful, or failing. You deserve support.

We talk a lot about preparing for birth. We also need to talk about preparing for mental health in the perinatal period.

You are not meant to carry it alone. 🤍

May is Maternal Mental Health Month 🤍

Motherhood is beautiful… and also overwhelming, exhausting, and sometimes really heavy. If you’ve been struggling, please know this:

You were never meant to do this alone.

Whether it’s anxiety, intrusive thoughts, feeling touched out, disconnected, or just not like yourself… support exists, and you deserve it. You don’t have to wait until things feel “bad enough” to reach out.

And a gentle reminder, this isn’t just a mom thing. About 1 in 10 dads also experience postpartum depression. Partners matter in this too, and support is just as important for them and for the relationship as a whole.

If you’ve been thinking about reaching out for help, this is your nudge 🤍 I’ve included my Postpartum Support International directory link below if you’d like to explore resources or connect. I’m also here to support individuals and couples navigating this season.

If you’re local, I host a free maternal mental health support group each month. Our next one is:

📍 Sunshine Indoor Play

It’s a relaxed, welcoming space to connect, share, or just sit and be around other moms who get it. No pressure, no expectations.

You can find the sign-up link in my bio 🤍

Sometimes it doesn’t start with knowing exactly what’s wrong.
It starts with a quiet feeling… something feels off.

Then someone says the words you couldn’t find.
And suddenly, it makes sense.
It has a name. You’re not alone in it.

From there, things begin to shift.
You find support. You learn what’s happening.
You start to believe that things can actually get better.

May is Maternal Mental Health Month.
If any part of this resonates with you, this space is for you.

You don’t have to figure it out by yourself. 🤍
