I actually turned on CNN right after the assasination attempt, for a good half hour, CNN never even mentioned the attempt…. It’s no wonder the left is clueless:
On Saturday our nation watched in shock at the attempted assassination of President Donald Trump.
Citizen journalists and those on the ground circulated video of true events not covered anywhere else.
We saw videos emerge of a bloodied Trump, reeling from a bullet wound to his ear, as he stood to address the crowd.
With a fist pump of defiance, he assured them he was alive, and that they should “fight” on. And then he was whisked to safety.
But then, something strange began to happen.
In synchronicity, legacy media outlets like CNN, Forbes, MSNBC, USA Today began to downplay these shocking events.
During the most pivotal moment in recent American memory, the media lied to you.
Instead of gun shots, they reported "popping noises."
Instead of a bullet wound, they reported "Trump falls at rally."
Instead of an assassination attempt, they reported "loud noises startled Trump."
Long after the truth of these events were globally understood – the media was silent to report the truth - that Donald Trump was shot in the side of the head by an assassin on a rooftop.
Even worse, most of these news outlets were ON LOCATION in the press box eye witnessing these horrifying events.
They KNEW the truth but purposefully downplayed a moment of historic significance.
Shameful.
