“My role is focused around 2 main laterals, ensuring the day to day operation of the critical building systems and manufacturing equipment, as well as planning for the future growth/diversification of the product portfolio. Daily, my team works to ensure that the critical building systems are maintained and operating within expected parameters to protect patient safety. Every period of downtime prevents product from being available to patients, and creates missed opportunities for other batches that follow. Our goal is to determine the root cause of line issues, make the necessary repairs, and document so that the lines can return to manufacturing high quality product...
Future growth and diversification comes in the form of capital projects, such as building new facilities, acquiring new equipment, and working with our internal stakeholders to support new business. We are consistently working with equipment manufacturers to define our changing needs, reviewing their solutions, defining the business case, and working to implement those lines into the facility. This allows LTS to serve a broader patient base, with new formulations and/or delivery methods that meet their needs...
