🎓💙 A proud day, a powerful milestone, and a celebration that meant so much to everyone involved.​

Recently, Program Specialist Jose Perez and a dedicated DSP had the privilege of supporting De’Andre Williams as he celebrated his brother’s graduation. Having supported both brothers through IHS services, this moment carried special meaning for everyone involved.​

Now, both brothers have graduated from the program — a remarkable achievement that reflects their hard work, perseverance, and the support of a family that has been there every step of the way. Seeing De’Andre celebrate alongside his brother made the occasion even more memorable. 🎓✨​

Moments like these remind us that success is never achieved alone. It is built through encouragement, connection, and a community that believes in each person’s potential.​

🎢☀️ A day full of thrills, laughter, and unforgettable memories!​

This past Saturday, our Kennywood trip brought together the individuals we serve, families, and staff for a day packed with excitement. From roller coasters and classic rides to delicious food and plenty of smiles, there was something for everyone to enjoy. 🎡🍔🎠​

While the rides were certainly a highlight, the best part was the opportunity to spend time together, meet new people, strengthen friendships, and create lasting memories throughout the day. Events like these remind us how important community, connection, and shared experiences can be. 💙​

With 50 tickets sold, this was one of our biggest outings yet, and seeing so many people come together made the day even more special. From the first ride to the last laugh, the memories made will be talked about for a long time to come. ✨​

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event such a success. We already can’t wait for next year’s Kennywood adventure! 🎢🎉☀️​

Big moments, big milestones, and even bigger possibilities. 💙🎓​

Riley, one of our Pennsylvania PTPs, recently celebrated a huge achievement: graduating high school!​

To celebrate, Riley and his graduating class got to enjoy a Pittsburgh Pirates game from a box at PNC Park. At first, Riley watched from inside the box, but by the 4th inning, he was out in the seats joining the crowd, clapping, chanting, cheering, and fully taking in the moment. He even made it onto the jumbotron! ⚾​

And that wasn’t the only big moment. At his graduation, Riley gave a speech — something that once felt out of reach when his team first met him.​

This is what meaningful, person-centered support can help make possible. With the right encouragement, consistency, and individualized care, goals become milestones, and milestones become stepping stones toward greater independence.​

Support doesn’t stop at graduation. OneWell's services help individuals continue building independence, developing daily living skills, exploring employment opportunities, and working toward long-term goals like housing, community involvement, and greater self-direction.​

We’re so proud of Riley and everything he has accomplished. Graduation is just the beginning — and we can’t wait to see what he does next. 🎉​

💙🚔 Building connections, creating understanding, and strengthening our community.

Recently, individuals supported by OneWell visited the Lancaster City Police Bureau for a special behind-the-scenes tour and learning experience. Officers welcomed the group, shared their day-to-day roles, answered questions, demonstrated equipment, and created a positive opportunity to learn more about our local police department.

Experiences like this help build familiarity, trust, and stronger community relationships by giving individuals space to ask questions, connect with local officers, and feel more comfortable with those who serve our neighborhoods. Thank you to the Lancaster City Police Bureau for hosting, welcoming us, and sharing your time, knowledge, and kindness. We are incredibly grateful for your partnership and commitment to community engagement.

John, one of the individuals we support in South Carolina, recently spent the day exploring the beauty of Savannah, Georgia, with his sister, Mary. From taking in the sights to enjoying time together, moments like this show what person-centered support is all about — helping individuals stay connected, included, and part of the community.​

And this one feels extra special because OneWell Health Care is now open in Georgia and accepting referrals! 🎉​

Congratulations to Dominique on moving into her new home in Connecticut! 🎉​

This moment is special in so many ways. Not only is Dominique beginning an exciting new chapter, but this also marks OneWell's first successfully completed Community Residential Services case in Connecticut.​

From helping Dominique find her home to supporting the move-in process, our team was honored to walk alongside her every step of the way. Seeing her settled, happy, and ready to enjoy her new space reminds us exactly why this work matters.​
​
Community Residential Services are about more than a place to live. They are about freedom, independence, daily living support, community connection, and helping individuals build the skills and confidence to participate more fully in everyday life.​

We recently had the opportunity to meet Jeffrey, a new individual we are honored to support at OneWell Health Care, along with his father, Jake. 💙​

During our visit, Jeffrey excitedly shared that his family helped create A Miracle League in 2012, an organization that provides inclusive and fun opportunities for individuals with special needs and their families through activities like softball, bowling, basketball, soccer, hockey, baking clubs, social groups, and more.​

Jeffrey shared how much he enjoys being involved and mentioned that there are chapters located throughout Pennsylvania for other families to explore as well.​

We loved getting to know Jeffrey and Jake and appreciated them sharing such a meaningful resource with the OneWell community. 🤝​
