Congratulations to Mr. Jenness on his RespiraCare graduation at River Terrace!

When Mr. Jenness arrived, throat pain and discomfort made eating difficult. During his stay, he worked with our PT, OT, Speech Therapy, registered dietitian, and respiratory therapist Lori Carpenter to support his recovery from multiple angles.

Now, he is heading home stronger, better able to tolerate and enjoy eating, and breathing better than he was upon admission.

“People here were very nice and they took good care of me,” shared Mr. Jenness.

We are proud to celebrate his progress and honored to support patients like Mr. Jenness as they breathe easier, build strength, and move forward with confidence.

Eileen Leger is a recently discharged patient who had a positive experience at our center, so much so that her daughter, pictured below, also shared that "Communication was great," a compliment that means so much to our team as we strive to keep families informed and supported every step of the way.

We went to the Lancaster Community Center for our monthly craft!

For the month of July, we created an American flag out of pony beads. We love engaging with the local community and creating special bonds with the residents of Lancaster and surrounding towns. We're already looking forward to next month!

Today is , a day to recognize the strength, resilience, and determination of the millions of individuals living with chronic disease.

The date 7/10 serves as a powerful reminder that 7 out of 10 deaths in the U.S. are caused by chronic diseases, including heart disease, cancer, and diabetes. Raising awareness is an important step toward prevention, early intervention, and better health outcomes.

At our center, we are committed to supporting individuals living with chronic illnesses through personalized, compassionate care that empowers them every step of the way.

Today, we're also asking our team and community to reflect on who inspires them to keep going.
