🏡 The teamwork of preparing the space.
💛 The encouragement and energy that help everyone show up as their best selves.

These women are passionate about helping people look and feel great, and it was such a joy to capture the warmth, expertise, and personality they bring to their clients every day.

This is exactly the kind of work I love: collaborating on location 🤝, supporting clients through the process, solving problems, sharing a few laughs 😄, and creating images that help people connect with the clients they're meant to serve.

Joshua Tree always brings me back to myself.

I first discovered this place through rock climbing — a sport I still deeply adore more than 30 years later. Since then, these rocks have held so many versions of me: adventurous, exhausted, determined, joyful, humbled, fully present.

Every time I enter the park, something shifts. The quiet. The heat. The grit. The scale of the landscape against the sky. It asks me to slow down, breathe deeper, and pay attention.

This trip, I made some self portraits with my partner in crime (and husband), Ross, trying to capture what this desert feels like to me: raw, grounded, resilient, expansive.

The desert strips away the noise.

And honestly, that’s what I love most about photography too.

I originally came in to photograph headshots… but the story was bigger than that ✨

At Willow Grove Advisors in Berkeley, I photographed an incredible team of women financial experts, led by Keley 👩‍💼 From the moment I stepped into their office, there was a strong sense of intention, warmth, and global perspective 🌍

So while headshots were the focus, we also expanded into brand imagery that reflects their environment — capturing the feel of their space, the details that shape their day-to-day, and the quiet confidence of the work happening there 🏛️

Headshots are powerful. But sometimes the space around a team adds another layer to the story ✨

And that’s where brand photography goes beyond a portrait — it becomes context, presence, and atmosphere 🤍

A brand story is so much more than a headshot ✨

Recently, I photographed research scientist and epidemiologist whose work beautifully blends science, yoga, and health coaching 🧬🧘‍♀️ Over several days, we captured her Reset program — not just portraits, but the experience of her work unfolding naturally in her home, kitchen, and teaching space 🏡

The food being prepared ☕️
The moments between the teaching 🧘‍♀️
The thoughtful moments in between 🤍

That’s the beauty of brand storytelling photography. Sometimes the story is polished and professional. Sometimes it’s layered, lived-in, warm, and deeply personal.

Every brand needs something different — and my job is to help shape imagery that feels aligned with your work, your energy, and the experience you want clients to have ✨

If your business is evolving, your imagery should evolve with it too.
